IBS-D- finally real relief!! Rx LEVSIN

I asked my PCP about coming off Lomotil and trying the Rx Levsin which is often used for celiac disease symptom reduction--- which happens to be 95% of the symptoms I have with IBS-D, and post op RNY and gallbladder removal years ago.  Symptoms like bloating, gas, loose stools, abdominal cramps etc.  have diminished by at least 85% since I started taking Levsin (generic) 125 mcg  4x a day as needed.  i take it before meals- so always 3x day at least.   I didn't mind the diarehea so much  but the intestinal gas and bloating was SO SEVERE everyday--it had been very life limiting for me. 
I hope it continues to work well for me---but I am SO RELIEVED- I wanted to pass on this news in the hopes that anyone here with similar symptoms and issues might also try this medication.  I want to call it a miracle drug because I had come to the conclusion I would be suffering with this horrible bloating and flatulence the rest of my life- and now my hope is renewed
