Nessa,

Does Pebbles still have the BEST pizza ever????  I grew up in Woodlawn and loved it when my softball team celebrated our wins there!  We were kids so unfortunately no beer! LOL

Today I'm grateful for:

1.  It's Friday eve!  It really has been a very long week.

2.  I have a really fun jewelry class tomorrow evening.

3.  Last night was an interesting support group meeting.

We learned a little more about Aerobic exercise and artifical sweetener.  It was the first meeting I had been to since my surgery and it was really interesting to hear tips from the long timers!  :)

Hi Jenn!!

So what wisdom did they impart about the artificial sweetner?  I don't use that much Splenda, really!

How bout that jewelry class?  I LOVE jewelry - have been wanting to learn how, but so far...nada!!!

Hugs,

Tia

They were saying that the use of artificial sweetner makes you more hungry.  That you are more prone to snack if you use it.  We are supposed to give it up around 6 months.  That's going to be so hard for me!!!!

I'm going to do metal fusing!  I'm super excited about it.  I have taken tons of jewelry classes.  I don't wear any jewelry except my wedding ring. (Well, I have tattoos and two of them mimic jewelry.  I have a chain of daisies around my wrist and a pinky ring of a black eyed susan.  I also have a butterfly behind my ear so maybe that third one counts as an earring in a very loose sense.)  I make tons of jewelry in sterling silver and make my mom wear it all.  :)

Yeah, I HAVE heard that it makes you thirstier, anyway.  Don't be talking about taking my Splenda, though!!!  I would DIE without it!!!!

Like I've said, I've NEVER taken a jewelry class, but I LOVE jewelry.  However, I only like the look of yellow gold and if it's something that sits right on my skin, it HAS to be the real stuff.  I can wear any kind of earrings, but still ONLY wear yellow gold in color.  Silver's just never been my thing.

Where do you take these classes?  I know AC Moore, etc., offer them, just never got around to doing it!

Tia..... in all the years I have been here, whether its been as a "poster" or a "lurker", youre positive & sometimes goofy atttude always kept a smile on my face! So....... you & my OH family are my number one answer!

#2- my family & friends who are supporting, encouraging, and loving me thru my journey of life.

#3- And as horrible as it sounds..... I am glad my physical therapy for today was cancelled!!! I have been running around to appointments all week & I am just plain tired! Travelling to & from all these appointments & my hubby pulling out the dang exercise band every hour has been therapy enough!

Awwww!!  Thanks, Heather...........................I think!!!!!!!!  LOL!!!  I try really hard to constantly think of the positives in life - trust me, sometimes, it's difficult.  I've had my share of hardships, but it could be so much worse, and I have so much good in my life to counter all the bad!!!  Not the least of which are the friendships which have developed from this board!!!  These women, and the few men who participate, are truly like extensions of myself.  It's hard to think of when this board and its participants WEREN'T an integral part of my life.

And yes, I pride myself on my goofy attitude!!  Often, a quick wit and sense of humor can get me through the worst of times, or at least deflect the worst of it!!

Okay....................so, what, exactly is hubby DOING with the exercise band?????? LOL!!!

Hugs!
