My three things,

Hey Terri -
I personally NEVER say it CAN'T get worse - because we all know it certainly CAN!!!! I hope you're continuing to heal (inside AND out) and take care of yourself. It's supposed to be a cold, somewhat crappy weekend, so stay in and pamper yourself!!! That's an ORDER!!!
Get those fluids and protein in!! You can do it!!!!
Hugs,
i'm new... so my post won't go through till Saturday i'll bet.
I hope you feel better soon.
which TJs do you go to?? I live really close to the one in Pikesville.
I love bald guys.... big thick bald guys. I am so worried my DH will end up too skinny...
oh i'm grateful for:
1. a good secure job with great insurance and a decent paycheck
2. FINDING THIS BOARD!
3. good friends.

So much to comment on today....
Tia, I hope your cold runs its course quickly and does not impact the wonderful plans you have for this weekend. Good for you on tossing the cookies. I have even tossed stuff down the garbage disposal so I can't get it back! Grocery shopping is a challenge sometimes. I will pass something up the first time and then swing back and ponder it again. Sometimes I win. Somtimes I give in.
Darla, Glad you had fun at dinner. Family events are special. I did not think you would make it to the second class, not if your family talks and spends time like my family. I told Stacia where you were so that she would not worry. She did not have the baby there, so you did not miss him. It was one heck of a workout though. I found out later that Stacia had M7Ms and caffeinne before class - LOL - It showed!
Misty - It sounds like you are doing the right things to take care of yourself. I wish you all the best.
Nic - Congrats on the weight loss! That is terrific!
Terri - I am glad to hear that the healing is progressing. It is great that you did not have to worry about the job so that you could do what was best for you.
About the knitting a couple of folks mentioned - I know how to knit a little. I can knit and I can purl. But I have never made anything more than a rectangle - LOL! I never learned how to add and drop stitches and keep track of all of that to form sweaters and things. Perhaps we could get a craft group together? I like all kinds of crafts but do not do them too much.
Nessa - Glad you are posting. Yes, this board is a wonderful place, isn't it?
For me today, I am having a productive, but less stressful day. I still have a lot on my plate and I am working my way through it. I only have 1 week before some staffing changes go into effect and I have a lot to do to prepare for that. I am grateful that....
1 - TGIF - I so need a break! And even though I have a number of errands to do this weekend, I am going to try hard to get some rest in too.
2 - Seeing a friend for dinner tonight.
3 - That I have a job. Even though it is stressful and will be even more so beginning a week from Monday with less staff, I am so lucky to be working at all. I would hate to on the market right now.
Have a great day and weekend everyone!
Debbie
