finding love....finally
I am floating on air. I am now in a relationship with a wondeful guy, Jim, who is by and far the most romantic most sweet, funny, and caring man I have ever encountered. He actually adores me and says so quite often. He is so wonderful that I do not have any trouble believing we will stay together.There is a little inkling of me that says watch out and don't get attached. But seriously, I can't help but be attached since there is this cosmic force putting the two of us together.
We are very compatible and have so many things in common that the list would be a few pages long. It was an instant connection on every level. Friday was our first actual date, when we met up at a HS alumni gathering and then went off on our own later that night. We talked all night long, closed down an all night diner, and stayed up to watch the sunrise on Valentine's day. He is a really sweet guy and says sweet romantic things as well as makes me laugh a lot, is intelligent, and can discuss actual feelings and thoughts unlike many. We had our 2nd date on Sunday. Our third date is tomorrow night and we are also going to a gathering of our friends on Saturday. We have an amazing thing going and it feels really special. I literally feel high on life. The chemistry is amazing.
It's the happiest I've been in over 10-12 years. It seems so easy and natural with him I forget to be skeptical. I am really enjoying him and our seeming fate to find each other happening at such a good time in my life. Finally God answered my many prayers. I really didn't think I would ever find anyone who I would feel so much for,ever. I feel more for him already than anyone else I have ever been involved with.

I am soooooooo happy for you! That is awesome (although I have to admit I am a tad bit jealous lol) No really I wish you the best. Its good to know there is hope and still some good men out there. I myself have just got recently back into the dating scene since I feel so much better about myself so wish me luck!! lol

After my first date with my now husband, I called my best friend and said, "I'm going to marry him." Sure enough, here we are 12 years later with two adorable kids and a wonderful life. I'll cross my fingers that all the cosmic forces stay aligned for you two. I'm so happy you are able to toss the what-ifs out the window and just enjoy the moment. That is what life is all about. Worrying about tomorrow doesn't change a thing and just serves to steal the joy of the day.

My parents met on a Sunday and my father proposed on Thursday (he says he had to work Wednesday night or it would have been then).
Married 3 months later and stayed happy until he passed away 46 years later.
