3 THINGS FOR HUMP DAY!!!
Today...
1 - As mentioned above, I am almost through with my stresser of a project. At least the intiial part is now off my back!
2 - The feel-good that I get when I wear my favorite sweater. Yes, this may be a little vain. After so many years of not feeling good in any clothes, it really gives me a confidence boost when I am able to wear certain things that I know look good on me. My spirits are happier on days like this.
3 - Friends, friends, and more friends - I am having dinner with one of my circles of friends tonight. This group will be bigger than it usually is. Some folks will be there that I have not seen in 3-5 years. (I used to work with these folks in a prior life.) I will be fun to catch up.
Have a super day!
Debbie
Hi Deb!!! Missed you yesterday, but I figured you were busy with your project. I know you'll be so relieved to type, "It's done!!" I find when I have to speak in public (which, pre-op, I NEVER would've done), I feel a lot better if I hold a pen in my hand. It's a comfort factor that you can focus on (as opposed to picturing senior management in holey purple underwear!!)
I hope you have a great time with your friends!!! They are going to be amazed at your beautiful transformation!!! Soak up all of their compliments! You deserve them!
Hugs,
Tia
I'm attitudinally challenged today, as my supervisor would put it, so I'm reaching!
Today I'm grateful....
1. For facebook, being able to reconnect with friends I haven't seen in 20 years is awesome, although it makes me feel nostalgic for the "good 'ole days"!
2. For the Maryland Board...knowing that I can come here and share and support is a wonderful thing!
3. I'm with Darla, for my furbabies and their unconditional love...even my female cat who very rarely wants anything to do with anyone! :)
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hmmm...........attitudinally challenged - me likey!!!
I agree, Facebook is pretty cool!!!! We're having a mini high school reunion in March at a local pizza joint. I can't wait!!! Although I seem to be the only one divorced/single, I STILL look better than some of the pics I've seen so far!!!! It's hilarious!! We've talked about our drunken high school days, blue and purple eye shadow, big hair and slouch socks!!! LMAO!!!! This year marks 24 years since I graduated!!! WHERE does the time go??
I don't think I knew you had a cat! Do the dogs think she's their chew toy????
LY!
I have two catsss. The male is cool with the dogs and they with him most of the time because he doesn't run away from them. The female is a true scaredy cat and is afraid of everything and runs from the, me, Mike...and as they think they must chase anything that runs from the...they chase and sometimes corner her...this is why two of the boys still have to be in crates when we aren't home.
I rescued her as a companion to my male cat since I used to travel so much and he got left home alone. He would cry at me for days when I got home. It did help.
Today, I am grateful:
1. For my "new" car!!! It's nice to finally be mobile again!!!
2. For getting a lot of my bills caught up. There are three more to catch up on, but I'm getting there!!!
3. That I am one step closer to surgery! All I need is my psych eval, and then we can submit for approval.
Hope everyone has a great day!!
