3 THINGS FOR HUMP DAY!!!

Good morning!!!!  I'm going to be tied up moving some files for a good part of the day, so I'm not sure how much I'll be around.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  That my phone has a block feature!!!  After receiving two late night phone calls last night from the same number, I called Verizon and blocked that particular number!!!  Aaah, sweet relief!!!  It's like the OH block feature, except on a cell phone!!  Take that, dumb man, who thought that 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. phone calls would excite me!!!  LOL!!!

2.  That my pouch still works!!  Because of a crappy day yesterday, I let my emotions rule my pouch.  Okay, I TRIED to let my emotions rule my pouch - my pouch won!!  Which is a good, keeping-me-on-track tool!!!

3.  Facebook - I joined several months ago only so I could view some pics a friend had put on his page, but it's turned into a mini-high school reunion of sorts!!!  It's actually been pretty cool!!  In fact, so many of us from high school have joined that we are, in fact, having a mini-reunion in March!!  From what I can see so far, I've held up pretty well compared to some!!  I know a lot of people do the Myspace and/or Facebook thing, and of the two, I prefer Facebook.  Sometimes, Myspace seems pretty juvenile and has actually been the messenger of heartache for me, so I don't bother with it!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Good Morning  ;

LOL I know what you mean about the block feature:  had to do that myself.
What is it with people  and businesses who think its OK to send texts and
call in the middle of the night????

aarrggghhh i hate filing -- need to do a bit of that but I always put it off till the last minute -
Then I do 3-4 cabinets at a time.

Today I am grateful for :

1.  Its bowling night -- get to spend time with 3 men WOO HOO -  1 married, 1 widowed
and one divorced with serious issues - but what can I say - I love my teamies.

2.  That  I remembered to throw my darks into the washing machine this AM-
Like Tia I will go home to find them neatly folded on my bed - My parents
spoil me and I would be lost without them.

3.  Thats its onnly 2 more work days this week LOL --- and I am looking forward
to Valentines Day --- hey I may not have a s/o but I have single girlfriends
to spend the evening with - So I won't be home alone LOL.  So if anyone wants
to join us for bingo let me know.

Hey Darla!!!

Well, it FELT as though I'd only been asleep for a little bit, so I wasn't too peeved at the call - until I saw it was 11!!!  In our household, anything after 9 is serious!!!  LOL!!!!

Well, I'm not really FILING, but moving files around.  It's ICKIER than filing, which yes, is the bane of my existence!!

Have a good one!

Okay, a bit grumpy this morning (no reason in particular) so I'll have to dig deep to find things I'm grateful for.

1. I made dinner last night instead of going out, which meant I started dinner before Pete got home from work and we weren't getting home from dinner at 9:00 pm from a restaurant. It was nice to control what went into my meal and not have to guess if there was any sugar or starch in my food.  I had my youngest & my daughter home for dinner also and they both loved the meal.

2. I found a Lane Bryant closer to work and home so I won't have to drive all the way up to Bel Air tonight to have them remove the security device they left on when I purchased the new bras.

3.  I went walking last night. As much as I would like to go tonight, I just don't have the time with getting ready for my trip this weekend.  I will resume when I return, as well as get some swimming in over the weekend to stay active.

Next....

Morning Ren!!

Yeah, I'm still grumpy, but mine's a holdover from yesterday!!

As much as I like going out, sometimes, it's a relief to just stay home and cook, which I love to do, anyway.  Plus, like you said, YOU control what you're having, which is important right now.

I'm not sure if it's still there, but there WAS a Lane Bryant in Eastpoint Mall.

When you get back and my knee feels better, I'll join you for the Monday night walk at least.  Tuesdays and Thursdays will be tied up with softball practice and then games, but Monday will be nice!!!

Have a great day!  You've got a wonderful weekend coming up with the man you love, so get RID of the grumpies!

HERE ARE AARON'S 3 THINGS - CLEARLY, HE & I WERE SEPARATED AT BIRTH!

Good morning sunshine!  How are you this morning?  I’m feeling MUCH better today than I was yesterday.
  My 3 things for today
  1. Even though I was a mega ***** yesterday I’m still grateful I have a job (especially after the way I treated everyone here LOL)
  2. Friends who try to calm me down throughout the day but understand that when I don’t wanna talk, I really don’t wanna talk.
  3. Today is a new day and a new beginning.

Well, I am feeling a little better, stress-wise today. My project is still not complete, but I made a serious dent yesterday and it is taking shape. I hope to finsih today so that I can do a trial run, get some feedback, and make the final edits. My stress level will go way down when that is done.

Today....

1 - I am anticiapting a relaxing weekend, assuming my project is done, and truly relaxing. I have also been having early mornign meetings with my team this week. So that means I have been getting up at 4:40 - 5AM. Add to that the late hour I get home because of the gym, and I an T-I-R-E-D! So rest is definitely on the agenda this weekend!

2 - That the all-hands business meeting that was called at the end of the day yesterday was OK news. When something comes up last minute like that in this economy....well, you just automatically worry. It was a relief to know we are still OK here.

3 - I know this is repetitive, but I truly value the classes I take in the pool each week. Yes, it is exercise. But it is also something that I really enjoy. The water is warm (and I LOVE water anyway). The comraderie is great. And I just feel do good about myself when I am in the pool.

4 - Oh, and I am also thankful that the surgeries of our OH friends this week have all been running smoothly.

Have a super day.

Hi Deb!!!

I know you'll be thankful when the project is complete!!!  Here's hoping its transition is smooth, and that you can R-E-S-T!!

I agree with your #2!  When a certain HR rep is on the floor, we all kind of cringe.  He's like the Black Cloud of Doom, sadly!

We do have a lot of losers this week, don't we?  Oh, well, there's always room on our bench!

Have a great day!

Happy humpday from your adopted Pennsylvanian.  Although things are tough right now, there are always those that have it tougher.  With that in mind, my 3 for today are:

1.  Today is pool league night.  It's this time with my friends that keep me sane with all the arsons going on around here.  Sadly, we spend the majority of our conversations talking about fires.

2.  My children.  I get to see my son a whole lot more than my daughter because he only lives 10 minutes away, while my daughter is almost an hour and a half away.  My son, who is 8, is treating daddy to Applebees tonight because he won a gift card at school.   Daddy loves his children, but daddy also loves free food.

3.  My faith.  With everything going on around here, along with still being on unemployment (thank God for emergency extensions) and getting around via public transportation (bus) and my family, it would be too easy to put my head in the sand and throw a self pity party.  It's my faith and personal relationship with God that gives me the strength to see the good in everything and to realize there is a greater purpose for my life.

Hey Andy!

Of course Daddy loves free food!!! Daddy's a MAN!!

No matter what the conversation, have fun with your boy and your friends tonight!!!

Hang in there!! Yes, you're right, there ARE people who have it worse!!  Never say it can't get any worse, because chances are, it CAN!!

Have a great day!
