3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. My sweet KB - Report cards came out yesterday, they both (again) made the honor roll!! My brother is very lucky, there are usually no homework battles and although they both work hard, they don't have to struggle to succeed. Let's hope this continues, as scholarships will eventually come in very handy!!!
2. I cooked a bunch of stuff for the week last night. Usually, I try to do that on Sunday, but didn't feel like it. I'm glad I felt up to it last night - makes the rest of my week easier!!!
3. That I had clothes already prepared since my iron decided to die last night. Ugh!! More money to spend that I don't really have.
See? It IS possible to make lemonade!!!! You just have to look!!
Have a great day!
Tia
1. Renewed life. I just feel so positive and charged lately! I hope to keep this going by creating positive actions and plans.
2. I had a lovely dinner with mom and my youngest son & daughter last night at PF Changs. I didn't even eat anything that I shouldn't.... regardless of how much dear mom told me that ONE BITE wouldn't hurt me.
3. My daughter made me SF Banana Pudding as a Valentine's Day gift that I get to enjoy for the next several days. She bought red heart shaped ramekins and put it in there.
4. That my children are able to be open and honest with me in all things, including their sex lives. It's nice that they know that I am on their side and that they can tell me anything.
5. I am very grateful to everyone that I have met from OH and from those I have yet to meet but have shared conversations with. It is you, who makes me want to be successful. Thank you!
1. It appears that I usually have the last word in posts, and I managed to get on the board first this morning and post a goopy sappy post! YAY!
2. I am positively charged today - and I think it's you gals doing that.
3. I leave at 10:30 for my 1/2 day furlough and I am picking up a check that I've been waiting on. Whoo Hoo!!!!!
Good Morning:
Ok Tia like you always tell me : Take a deep breath - Ask him what the hell he expects
you to do about the heat !!! In case you snap email me a list of your "contacts" who
can help with the bail out process LOL
Congrats to KB on their repost cards: have not heard from Jessica on hers yet - but I am sure I will.
Today I am grateful that
1. After slacking off due to health problems and the holiday season I am finally back
to my normal exercise routine of at least 4 nights a week ( OK so I include the bowling
as exercise : hey I throw by 12 Lbs. ball at least 60 times ) and at least once on
the weekend. I went twice this weekend ( due to the brunch I wanted to work off LOL)
2. For my parents : Last night when I got home Mom asked me what class I
had taken and she asked if she can come watch some time LOL : I was telling
her some of the exercises/positions we do and she was hysterical imagining
me doing them .
3. In these tough economic times I am grateful for job security; being in the
transportation business I see companies going under everyday - just
happy we have a contract and don't have to worry where the payroll is
coming from next week.
I am sorry about the heat in the office Tia. Unless you have any connections with maintenance, there is not a lot you can do. I keep a small fan in my office for those times when I need a little something. It is not perfect, but I feel better with the air.
I am really inspired by all of the positive energy I am reading about from my fellow OH members. No matter where you are in the process, it is inspiring to read and contagious.
Darla, I am really proud of you. I am so glad you have your "groove" back! It is a wonderful thing to behold! Keep up the good work. I am certain you will achieve your goal for the Cruise to Lose!
Today..
1 - I value this board more than I can say. You are the lifeline that keeps me committed through good times and bad. I may not always comment, but know how important each and every one of you are. Thank you for sharing your hearts and souls (and humor).
2 - That yesterday was a good day at work. I still have this project hanging over my head, but I cleared a lot of other stuff off of my list yesterday. Today I really hope to make a lot of progress on the project.
3 - The ongoing support and encouragement of my (and Darla's) Pilates trainer. She pushes me beyond my limits. Through this process I have hope that with continued work I will be able to do the different exercises properly. I am learning so much abut my body, its strengths, weakness, quirks. I have a lot of work to do and it will take me a long time. But because of her, I beleive it is possible.
Have a super day!
Debbie
I hope work on the project goes well today and just think you can destress in the
pool tonight LOL
I have to agree that Stacia "Rocks" as my nieces and nephews say LOL
She is a great inspiration and a source of encouragement to us all -
last week her emails really helped get me out of my funk. (along with
you and everyone else on the board of course)
so have a great day and I will see you tonight
Darla
Got in late this morning myself but not because of traffic! Sorry HE is being an a$$...maybe you should bring him a bag of ice and tell him to sit on it! Heh heh heh
Today I'm grateful...
1. That even though I accidentally took double my sleeping meds, I am okay, albeit tired this today.
2. That my husband cut his recording session short last night to come home to keep watch over me whilst I slept.
3. That I didn't have to deal with traffic this morning!!
Have a good day everyone!
