Good Morning Maryland!
Figured since I am the first one up on the board, I'd wish everyone a good morning.
I'm in exceptionally good mood, and I think it's a spill over from Sunday's brunch. Ren said it - it was phenomenal.
Although we may have sat at that table and called ourselves Losers - I certainly didn't feel that way when I left. I was invigorated and really felt like a winner having gotten to meet some of those people behind the avatars, and sharing a commonality among us.
Darla mentioned it earlier - pre-op, we probably entertained ourselves because we were too big to have friends, dates, or even be too big to move around comfortably and without pain. Maybe we had clothes that just didn't fit right or didn't do us any justice and we felt uglier.
We have all taken a step at one time or another to change that. With that change, we become empowered people, with the same bubbly personality we may have had to hide behind initially.
Now what we have become and are becoming is astronomical to all of us. And should any one of us stumble in our confidence, esteem, happiness, we know where we can go to get a moodlift.
Thanks, everyone, for our lucky stars that we have guys and gals like you who understand and cheer us on and occasionally spank us if we get into trouble, but always (or should I say almost always) forgiving of our mistakes.

Yes! That's exactly it! I am still on the high from Sunday... *read my previous post about what I'm grateful for today*. I am just so overwhelmed in my rejuvenation. I just cannot express how happy and how good I feel. It almost seems silly to feel this good and this emotionally energetic. I could babble about it forever if someone would let me! LOL
I'm hoping to keep it going by not only posting here and supporting each other here, but by getting together frequently either in large groups like Sunday or smaller intimate ones.
