Tuesday Workout

Good Morning everyone :

So this is waterclass night at the MAC -  Woohoo gotta love that heated pool.

Anyway :  If I get off work in time I will do the treadmill/weightcircut and Water
Pilates and aeorbic Classes -   Would never in a million years have thought
I would look forward to exercise.

So what are you going to do today?

I'm going to leave work early today, and go to Morgan to get my check.  While I'm standing in the line, I plan to do the tippy toes (stand on toes, flatten feet, stand on toes again). 

When I've gotten my check, I'll walk across campus to get in my car then go to the bank.  I'll park far away and make a mad sprint to the bank and back to the car.  Then I'll go to MY bank, and deposit the cash. 

I will treat myself to a lunch at Popeye's.  Then it's time to get ready to go back to school for class, so again, I'll park across the campus and walk 6 blocks.  Add 6 more blocks to going back to my car and heading to the grocery store, of course parking at the end of the parking lot.

While I'm in the grocery store trying to figure out what I'm going to fix for dinner, I will walk up and down each aisle in a quick way. 

I plan to buy 2 gallons of tea so I'll be lifting the tea jugs with groceries as I walk to my car.

During my car rides, I'll turn my radio station to a hip hop station so that I can do the butt squeezies while I'm driving.

Hopefully with all this "exercise", I won't need a gym?

Candy,

You are too funny girl and girl! This is definitely something I should be doing when I am out and about.  Thanks for sharing!

I am not a member of gym so every bit of exercise helps.

I'm heading to the track after work and walking. I'm still a little sore from walking but the additional walking will reinforce to my leg muscles that they'd just better get used to this! Winter is almost over and I plan on using them often!!!

Where/What is the MAC?

The MAC is the Maryland Atletic club in Timonium   -  DVR had a support group meeting
with someone from the MAC there to go over exercises we could do preop.
I also had to do 8 weeks of pulminary physical therapy preop which got me
in the exercise mode.  At my one month appointment he gave me the OK
to start exercising -  three days later  I joined the MAC.  While expensive
I could not have asked for a more supportive group of trainers.

I am so bummed, I am on restricted activity due to my recent scare. I miss working out!!! I was making such good strides with my cardio endurance too! :(

I will try to get on the treadmill today. It's hard when I have a sick clingy child requiring my full attention.
Have fun in the pool tonight.
