Ok, how come nobody warned me that I'd feel like I was going through a meat grinder???   That was tough!!  Thank goodness my man was so wonderful. He helped out of bed every hour to pee (thanks to the lovely IV) and even emptied out the urine cup in the bathroom when the staff forgot.  I could never have done it without him

I'm a little more mobile and eating has been going fine.  I was allowed on pureed 2 days after sugery, thank goodness.

Thankyou for your support, it means the world to me.

Welcome to the Loser's Bench Jo!

Yes, right after surgery everyone feels kinda crappy... least everyone that I'm aware of. However in no time at all you'll forget all about it as you watch the weight fall of you in the early months!

Pureed after 2 days is awesome!!

Good luck to you on your weight loss journey.

My regards,
Ren

Jo:
Sounds like you're right on track.  Surgery, feel like you've been hit by a bus, realize that you can only eat one teaspoon of food, start feeling a little bit better . . . . then before you know it, you'll be feeling better than you ever have in your life!!!
Good luck on your journey.  There still are more hiccups to come, but you are well on your way!

Jo,

Welcome home and to the Losers Bench!!  It definitely is more of a challenge in the beginning but it does get better and you'll kind of forget you were ever feeling the way you are now!

Hey Jo and welcome to the Losers Bench!

Glad to see you are progressing along!!

Yes the first couple of days (well kinda the first week) is very tough not to mention mentally it is kinda tough as well. But after that things get much easier!!

Take care!
