Hey Lauren!!
I'm sorry, I forgot to comment on your other post about all that wonderful food you made!! O M G!!
It all sounded heavenly. It's especially important that people considering wls know that you only change the way you eat - you don't stop eating!!!!
Good for you!!!
BTW, you said you live 3 blocks away from Samos - is that toward Highlandtown or toward Bayview? I grew up in Highlandtown, so I'm fairly familiar with the area.
Hugs,
Tia

Tia.....i'm actually IN greektown. Its a GREAT little area!
I totally agree with you on the topic of food! Eating as a post-op doesn't have to be boring or bland...its all about creativity!
I love to talk about food and I especially love talking to people about all of good things I make that are healthy and WLS friendly. People in the non-WLS sector of my life even try my recipes and ideas. Everyone loves to eat....and when people find out that the delicious food they're eating is healthy, well, its like heaven =)
I am such a foodie and cooking is my life......I couldn't live a life filled with boring bland food day after day. I can honestly say that I eat a wide variety of incredibly delicious and healthy food. WLS has been a fun challenge with respect to cooking, researching new ideas, and ammending recipes. My dietician even told me I should write a cookbook....hehe....she's was jotting down ideas from my food journal to try herself!
God I talk a lot! Have a good night!
