The past 2 weeks leading up to my supposedly fill day which as you all know I had to cancel I have stayed off the scale because I thought I would be very disapointed. Well I have been doing my exercises almost religiously but not all the time in the past 2 weeks also. I have lost 4 pounds in 10 days LMAO. I must have been doing something right. I think it is the cashews I have taken up as my nightly snack. I also have had some when I felt that bandster hell hunger pang and they work. I have not been starving myself either, which I thought I would have to do. My BMI is now below 40 woooooohooooooo.. Sorry for tooting my horn I just wanted to pass the little cashew trick on to others that might possibly be getting those nasty hunger pangs too. Everybody have a nice day.

That's GREAT!!  Congrat's on the weight loss!  I know, sometimes we can get surprised by the scale if we stay off of it for a few days!!  Keep up the good work!!

hey big brother!  congratulations on the loss!!!!  I know you must be super happy!  for any wls patient regardless of what surgery they had, nuts is a great filler food....high in protein (watch the fat in them though...but it's natural fat so it's all good).  i can eat a handful of peanuts and I am really full!

Hello congrats on the weight loss. I have been thinking about this surgery for a long time and am scared. I went to a nutritionist and she claims banding is a bad idea. She thinks that it can cause more problems and you can end up malnourised. I still want to do it. I would love to hear your opinion and how your procedure went. I  have been on lapband forum and have gotten so info. But the more I have the better.. Thanks in advance for your help...

Hey Dusty,

That GREAT!  I am very happy for you!  Quick question, why did you have to cancel the "fill"?  Hopefully, nothing negative?  I am going tomorrow for mine.  I need it in the worst way.  I have stalled.  I've lost 35 lbs to date but cant seem to get past that eventhough I'm working out.  I know its because I can eat too much right now....so I am definitely looking forward to tomorrow.  Keep in touch....miss talking with you!
