CHRISTINA LI @ SINAI HOSPITAL
I'M SORRY I GAVE YOU THE NUMBER THE ONLY E-MAIL ADDRESS I HAVE IS THE NUTRIONIST [email protected]. HOPE THIS HELPS
There are online food journals at www.fitday.com and www.sparkpeople.com.
Also a suggestion - when I was trying to lose weight pre-op, I had a low carb protein shake for breakfast (usually Atkins), a Weigh****chers or similiar type meal and a salad for lunch, and a "reasonable" dinner. If I felt the need to snack, I would eat a l/f cheese, some almonds or a s/f popsicle. And drink LOTS of water, which you'll need to do post-op for life, anyway. Walmart has its own brand of Crystal Light in lots of different flavors.
Eating a diet higher in protein and lower in carbs will help you feel and stay full.
Again, this is just a suggestion, but it worked for me!!!
Good luck,
Tia
