3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE!!!

Good morning everyone!!!  My day started a little earlier than normal - 4:30!!  ICK!!!  My brother's car is in the shop, so I got up earlier, took him to work in Dundalk and then came in here!!  The plus side is that I have enough time to stop at SB for a latte!!  So life is good!!!  And OMG! that wind is just brutal!  I feel for anyone who works outside today!!  My brother was bundled up like the Michelin man this a.m.!!!

So today, I'm grateful for:

1.  It's the day after payday!!!  Which means I have a little bit of pocket money!!  Not much, mind you, but enough to treat myself to lunch out somewhere today or tomorrow!!!

2.  This board - God, you guys just crack me up!!  I told Aaron that my sides hurt from laughing so much yesterday!!! 

3.  The weather is supposed to be nicer this weekend, so we can air out the houses!!!!  And I'll try to get KB out somewhere this weekend, too!!

Today I am grateful:

1. I have lost 4 1/2 pounds on the 5 day test!!  It has been pretty tough.

2. I have exercised 3 days this week at the gym and I feel pretty good.

3. Yes it's payday for me too!!!!! And the week is almost over.

Tia - I am with you. I got very excited when I heard the weather forecast for this weekend! Of course, since it is still Feb. it will be a big tease and we will be all depressed when it gets cold again! Still, I will take it!

Today...

1 - I survived the dentist. HOWEVER - my action plan for what needs to be done grew - sigh!

2 - Sleep - I took the night off from the gym last night, but I really needed it. I took a nap at 5:30PM. Got up at 7PM, did the things I had to do and then slept hard the rest of the night. I did not wake up in the middle at all.

3 - Looking forward to the weekend. I have plans with friends on both days. The weather is simply a bonus.

Perhaps we should set up a Pay Pal account for anyone wanting to donate to our dental adventures?  Mine is looking like about $13K right now!!!  YIKES!!!!  But what can ya do?

I, too, have been napping a bit this week - I'm thinking it's the weather.  Well, that and the fact that last weekend I went non-stop.  I've already booked sleeping in for Saturday!!!

You stil lhave me beat! My total after the part that insurance will cover, is about $4,000 or so. Between this and the car, it makes it very hard to pay down bills or sock a little away during this economic downturn. So, I will just take it one step at a time. What else can I do?

Sadly, the $13K is also after my insurance!!!  YIKES!!!  Thank God I have my 401K to dip into, much as I hate that.  But you're right - what choice is there!!!

Just think of the beautiful smiles we'll have!!!

Ya know - if I ever get to the point that my dentist starts charging me more than $100 a visit, I'm getting my teeth pulled and getting dentures!

Okay, my three things today:

1.  I had a blast yesterday on the board.
2.  I'm excited about this weekend - the fact that I'll be sleeping in!
3.  I'm just a few days away from getting my federal tax refund - whoo hoo!!!!!

Hey Candy -

Well, it's just that I need a TON of work done - crowns, implants (teeth, not boobs), etc.  The $$ really goes up when you're talking about THAT kind of dental work.  I even joked to my dentist that it would be cheaper to get full implants or dentures and he said, "Oh, you don't even want to know some of the trouble people have with dentures."  So...I'll just hang onto mine for as long as I can!!

I had so much fun on the board, too!!  Like I said, my sides were hurting from laughing!!!!  LOL!!!

I'm excited about sleeping in, too!!!  And about meeting you on Sunday!!

4:30?  DOUBLE ICK!! 

I've been napping more than usual this week too!  It's gotta be the weather!

Today I'm grateful...

1.  That my PCP isn't worried about my lump, but I will be having a diagnostic mammo (whi*****ludes ultra sound) on 2/12 just in case.

2.  That we only have one more day after today for the workweek! 

3.  I'm stealing from Tia and Candi...the board totally cracked me up yesterday too!  It was fun to be able to participate since I was working from home!
