I would DEF be interested. Not sure I can commit yet (have to see about money....lol) but i would say put me down as interested!

I LOVE LOVE rides but havent even attempted them in forever for fear of not fitting so I would love to go. I think by this summer i should have lost enough that I should be ok!!! woho!!

Dont forget even if we dont want to travel far, Six flags is right here in MD. At least from me (in Laurel) Hersey Park and Kings Dominion are both like 2hrs away so I would be game for those!!

I use Hunt Valley Motorcoach for my casino trips!  They are good, and so are Superior Tours.

I am planning  to go gamble somewhere on the 21st.  I should have my tax refund by then.    Maybe I'll head up to NJ for the hell of it.    :)

The amusement park in OC? - is it big like Kings Dominion, Hershey Park and 6 Flags, or is it smaller like more on a Carnival/State Fair Level?

More along the lines of the carnival type, I'd say.  There's a roughly 2 mile long boardwalk, along which are TONS of shops, arcades, restaurants, etc.  Then at the end, over to the left is the amusement pier - Ferris Wheel, carnival games and other rides (no huge rides like the amusement parks, though), and a little past that on the right, there are more rides and games.  There's also a section that's indoors for the toddler-sized kids.

Clear as mud now?? LOL!!!

T - I want to live a little (whining) - can I go on the big rides?  I'll buddy up with Aaron if you don't like the big rides!  LOL

The boardwalk sounds like a hole in the wallet - like my little gambling excursions  LOL.

I was thinking of a big park like HP, KD or 6F - many of us probably haven't ridden for ages, and we need to find that skinny giddy kid inside us........

Let me see what I can find along the lines of options of spending the night / bus trip, etc.

Shall we go while it's still a tad chilly?  like if the Park opens in March or April?

Oh, yeah, you CAN spend a chunk of change.  Or not.  You just have to know where to go, what to buy, etc.

So we'll schedule another trip there sometime!!!

As far as the parks, I vote for HP - in a word, chocolate!!!!  But I'm easy - just not cheap - so let the majority rule!!!

Maybe check with Hunt Valley about chartering a bus?  I personally can't afford an overnight up there right now since I have one I HAVE to go to in May.

And if I have to miss, for whatever reason, y'all can take lots and lots of pics!!!  In fact, I want a pic of Aaron upside down!!!  LOL!!!!
