Good afternoon everyone!!

Today, I am grateful:

1.  That my boss finally gave me my W-2 today.  I'm not used to having to wait this long, and my taxes are usually filed and direct deposited by now!!!  I was quite annoyed with his procrastination lol!

2.  That I was finally able to file my taxes.

3.  For Earned Income Credit!!!  The extra money will help me get my car on the road again, and some bills paid off.

I do love tax season lol!!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Becks!!!

How's Mr. H??

Um.....aren't employers supposed to at least have W-2s out in the mail by January 31?  Or is that a tax season urban legend??

That's one good thing about the State - we get ours early.  In fact, I've filed, received and spent.  SIGH.

Hugs,

Tia

Hi Tia,

Hunter is doing much better, but he's had some strange things happen the past 2 nights that has me a little concerned.  He has woke up crying saying his leg hurt on monday and last night he woke up crying saying his foot hurt.  It took forever to calm him down, and I had to hold him until he went back to sleep.  I of course gave him motrin to help with the pain, but it just doesn't make sense.  I have a call in to his pediatrician about it also.  I was thinking it might just be "growing pains", but with him being sick like he has I'm being overly cautious lol.

As for the W-2's, yes they are to be post marked by January 31st, but since the 31st was a Saturday this year, employers were given to February 2nd.  My boss is also a family friend (his son and my nephew are classmates and friends), so I guess he thinks he can just be slow lol.  I finally had to tell him how much I really need it so I can get my refund back.

I'm envious lol I wish I could say I've had mine back.

Hugs,
Becki

Becks -

I'm sorry, thought I answered this!!  I was going to say growing pains, too, but you're right to check it out.  Poor little guy's been through SO much!!!  WAAAH!!!!

Mine's not a lot, but it's something at least!!!  Now, my brother's - OMG! would I like to have his return!!!  There's a comma in it!!!!  Thanks to kids, daycare, house interest, etc.  He's better off getting one lump sum and doing something with it than trying to hold onto a bit each pay day.

Keep me posted on H!!
