3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!!

Toni, love, thank you for your heartfelt words!!!  You are SUCH a good soul!!!  I strive hard every day to be a good role model for KB.  I'd like to think I do a good job, but I guess time will tell.

I've been having a pity party for myself since Tuesday, so I need to remind myself that I have plenty to be thankful for.

1. My husband. He has been so good to me, practically waiting on me hand and foot and has been very patient and understanding of my mood swings. I'm a lucky gal.

2. My parents. They were at the hospital with me the day of my surgery and came to see me every day until I was discharged. They continue to check on me to make sure I'm doing okay.

3. Digital cable. I walk, I drink, I watch TV.

You have EVERY right to have a pity party!!!  Just don't let it consume you, okay?  You WILL have surgery - when the time is right and your body can handle it. 

I'm sure your hubby feels so bad and is disappointed for you, too!!! Yes, you ARE a lucky girl!!

Family is everything and they will help you through it all.  As will the Maryland Board!!!

Thanks, Cira!!!  Like a lot of people, this weekend's viewings will allow me to see people I only see at weddings and funerals!!  Pretty sad, too, as our whole family is local!!!

You would LOVE my bff, Lisa - she is the awesomest!!  Just don't ever say the words, "Jack Daniel's" around her!!!  LOL!!!  Or me, for that matter!!  Oh, the stories she could tell!!   We've been bff since we were 15!!!!  So that's what....6 years??? LMAO!!

I'm glad my boyfriend had a great day with you!!!  MUAH!!!

Tia – so sorry to hear about your Great Aunt! It’s terrible when we lose our loved ones and I think it makes us look more closely at our own mortality each and every time it happens!  My condolences to your family.  

Darla – sorry that Aunt Flo decided to visit!!!!   

Aaron – I would not be functioning on 2 ½ hours of sleep!!! Yuck!  

Becki – SOOOOO glad to hear that Hunter is doing better!

Today I’m grateful…  

 

1. That it’s FREAKIN’ FRIDAY as Aaron said! I am sooo ready for the weekend, AS ALWAYS!!
2. For my RNY!! I’m 60 lbs down as of this morning and my clothing choices are dwindling.
3. For sleep. I haven’t been getting much during the week and have been trying to make up for it on the weekend, which we all know doesn’t really work. I went to bed an hour earlier this morning, so I don’t feel exhausted. Hopefully with a full nights sleep tonight I’ll have energy to really get some things done this weekend as opposed to last weekend when all I did was veg!

I was looking for a bday card and came across the perfect one for you - it had a studly guy on the front (think Mike), and it said, "Thought I'd send you a picture of a guy with his boxers for your birthday," and inside were two boxer puppies, and it said, "Aren't they cute???!!!!"  LOL!!!!

60 POUNDS!!!!!!!  WOO-HOO!!!!  You rock!!!!

I'm feeling a bunk attack coming on myself - I've been SOOOO tired this week!!  Here's to catching up on it - somewhat!!
