3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!!
Well ehre's what happened. a friend of mine asked me for a favor and I asked him what it was and he said that another friend of mine's partner was stuck in delaware and needed a place to stay until they can get the money to send him home to wisconsin. So I said that he could stay with me until he can go home. Well, they put him on a train to baltimore and I left right after work to drive to Baltimore to pick him up. Then I find out that he's not arriving until 11 pm last night. Well I drive home and I'm home for like an hour then drive BACK to baltimore to pick him up. Well I don't see him anywhere. I told him to take the train to the airport. There's no one there. I wait until the last train of the evening comes and goes at 1 am and still no one. Then I hightail it to Penn Station to see if he got off there. Of course the doors are locked at Penn Station by 1 am and there was no one outside. so I called up my friend and told him that this guy is nowhere to be found. After all the jabbering and crap......I finally get home by 3:30 am this morning and finally get to bed by 4:30 am to wake up at 7. I slept in my clothes LOL I'm super tired today.
Tia, I'm sorry about your Dad's Aunt, but as you said with no quality of life she is better off with God.
Today, I am grateful:
1. That my little prince is finally starting to return to his normal onry self! He is scheduled for a chest xray on monday to see how well the pneumonia is clearing up, but all in all he is getting better.
2. For all of the wonderful friends I have on OH. Thank you for all of your support and prayers. It means so much!
3. That I was able to do 3 of my friends tax returns last night, and hopefully they will get me my payment as fast as I did their taxes. Right now it would help out tremendously. If you know anyone who needs their taxes done, I charge between $30 and $50 and that includes e-file.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend!

Good Morning Everyone,
Tia: I'm so sorry to learn about the passing of your Great-Aunt. You are right, the passing away of Matriarchs and Patriarchs does remind us of our own mortality. Their passing also promotes us to the status of grown-up - for real. The generations that come after us look to us for answers and assurances in much the same way we looked to the generation before us. I didn't realize what a big job it was until now: My grandmother, aunts and great-aunts made it all look so simple. I don't know about you, most days I don't feel I'll ever begin to be qualified for the job (sigh)...
Today I'm thankful for: 1.) Life. 2.) Faith. 3.) Friends. Three things I hope to never take for granted. Peace and Blessings, -Antoinette
