PLEASE PRAY
No, I was only with him that one time and like you it scared me to death!!! I don't ever want to see it again. One time he was home by himself and I came home and he was lying in the chair and his face was all beat up and bruised and blood was all over in the dining room he apparently had one by himself and fell and was seizing near the leg of the dining room table, I felt so bad for him. He is careful now with the Dilantin and takes it faithfully and gets his level set. He has been on Dilantin for a long time now and it is the safest anit seizure medication and does not have any side affects that are debilitating. One that they also presribe is Phenobarbetal if doctors try to give your husband that one don't get that one that can make them like a zombie. My husband functioned and still functions extremely well on Dilantin. Please keep me posted and yes please have him see the neurologist - either one of the them are good.
I will continue to keep you both in my thoughts and prayers
Hugs,
Terri
