3 THINGS FOR THURSDAY!!

Good morning!!! I'm actually having a yucky morning, but trying to get over it.  Good thing murder is against the law in Maryland. 

However, there are ALWAYS things for which to be grateful:

1.  The heat in our house is working again!  Woo-hoo!!  Apparently, the igniter on the furnace died yesterday (of all days!!).  But BGE came right out, amazingly enough, and fixed it.  It was starting to get cold in the house rapidly!!

2.  That I have a brain in my head and can drive like a sane person.  Helllllooooo?  There's still ice out there, people, really no need to drive like you're qualifying!!!!!

3.  I got my income tax refund direct deposited yesterday!!  It's not a lot, but these days, anything helps!!!

Good Morning;

Glad the heat is working & the income tax refund came thru fast.

I'm in a pretty good mood to start the day :  hopefully it will last.  Today I am grateful for -

1.  My spell checker ( Thanks tia)

2.  That I bowled well last night :  we ended up winning two and losing two but I had a good week and it feels good to contribute to winning some games for a change.  And I enjoy the company of my fellow bowlers.

3.  Thats its Thursday so only one day until I see friends at bingo and have lunch with some on Saturday:  plus a Super Bowl party Sunday ( Go Cardinals)  plus to top it all off I get a baby fix in as well.

I hope everyone has a great day and be careful on those roads, parking lots and sidewalks- It hasn't all melted yet.

No problem!!!  I'm glad you didn't take offense!!!  You KNOW that spelling/grammar is a HUGE pet peeve of mine - occupational hazard, I guess.  It's amazing how incorrect spelling and improper grammar usage can make a person seem like an imbecile!!  And NO, I'm NOT talking about YOU!!!!!!  LOL!!!!

Glad you got to bowl last night - evidently, the parking lot wasn't TOO hazardous!!!  Ours at work was dicey this a.m.!!!

You're doing Bingo tomorrow night?  At Fullerton?

and the parking lot was pretty clean - and I got there early enough to get a spot
4 places from the door.  

I must've lost some brain cells somewhere along the way, because I'd forgotten about Bingo.  I'll ask Mom and let you know.

Morning Tia...I hear ya on the murder thing, believe me I do!!  I decided I would start the day here since I haven't been able to post much recently.

I'm glad your heat got fixed quickly that would have been MAJOR SUCKAGE!!

Today I'm grateful...

1.  That the weekend is almost here and the end of an extremely hectic and frustrating couple of months.  We've been working on overdrive and hopefully after this big test event is over we can sit back and relax a tad!  I can hear sleep calling my name!

2.  That traffic hasn't been bad the past two mornings and I've gotten in relatively easily.

3.  That Tia got her income tax refund so hopefully that means she can get a home 'puter!!

Actually, Tia DOES have a home computer - it's 'net access I don't have right now.  And honestly, even if I did, I'm so busy at night and on the weekends that once I get Comcast, I'm not sure how much I'd be on, anyway!!!  But.....you have my , and it's always available for you!!!

That is amazing about the refund! I just got the last of the documents I have been waiting for in order to pull mine together! So I will try to work on assembling it all this weekend.

Today, I am grateful for ...

1 - The sun - it is shining brihgtly. Although the glare was a little bit of a nuisance, I will tolerate it for the sunshine! Hopefully, we will get some good melt today, particilarly in those places that don't get a lot of city/county attention. I was fortunate that all was clean for me. So I had no issues getting out today. I am glad I decided to go out yesterday afternoon and clean off the car. Some of my neighbors were scaping today. I actually think it was harder to scrape today than yesterday.

2 - That I get to go to the pool tonight. I am suffering from pool withdrawal since I could not go on Tuesday night. The world just does not feel right to me unless I get my pool classes in each week!

3 - That despite the difficult weather yesterday, it sounds like all of my OH friends managed the day safely.

It helps that I have no deductions, etc., makes for a quick, quick turn-around!!!  One thing the State does right is get our W-2s out quickly!!

I'm glad to see the sun, too, and hope there's some melting on the sidewalks and parking lots.

Hey Tia murder is illegal everywhere and if that was not the case well I would have commited a couple of those. lol 

So glad that your heat was fixed quickly. I think our upstairs unit is going to go out soon and I am praying it doesn't. We have been noticing some problems with it.  Great on the quick refund enjoy!!!
As for MD drivers man oh man I do not miss them at all.  Sorry guys the truth is the truth!  lol


Today I am grateful for:

1. A wonderful husband that is my EVERYTHING.  Today is his birthday and we plan to make his day special.

2. Good dreams..... I dreamt of my Mom last night and it had been a long time since. I really needed that hug and kiss from her.  I woke up happy because of it.  (I LOVE YOU MOM)

3. Ok so I have to repeat number 2 because I am all choked up.
