4. That the groundhog will probably NOT see his shadow on the 2nd and I can dream about an early Spring getting here.  lol A girl can dream right? lol

I thought of you when poor Happy went outside in her red sweatshirt!!  As soon as her poor little paw**** the ground, she was sliding!!!  Thank God I had her on the leash or she'd STILL be going!!!!!!  LOL!!

Gino walked Rocky this morning he refused to poop out there he couldn't smell the ground. lol He needs boots his poor little paws were freezing. lol  Poor happy get her boots too!

Yep, Happy kept sniffing, trying to squat, repeat!!!  LOL!!!!  We had little boots, but as small as they were, she kept walking out of them!!!  Poor lil things!!!

I just walked in from walking Rocky again and he refused to poop yet again. So he is in his crate not allowed to roam around the house because he will find a spot where to drop that load! lol

 

ADDING ANOTHER THING I AM GRATEFUL FOR  

MY BOWLING WAS NOT CANCELED TONIGHT !!!!!!  WOO HOO

hopefully they will salt the parking lot at the bowling lanes

Darla, I am so happy for you. I know how much you were craving your bowling "fix" - LOL! Just be careful out there! I just went out to clean of my car and the ice is acting more "crusty". It breaks as you walk on it (at least around here). The trouble will come when things refreeze tonight. I am not sure what time we will get to that point.

All this stuff that's melted is supposed to refreeze tonight, so please, please, please be careful!!!!

I'll be careful and Dad had someone plow and deice the driveway and sidewalks at home:
the most dangerous part will be the parking lot at the bowling lanes -- and if I get out of here
at 4:00 and don't hit a traffic jam I should be able to get a spot right near the door.

Thanks Deb and Tia for worrying about me :  to tell the truth my team was the only one who voted not to bowl :  and If everyone else bowl and we don't show that would mean we forfeit
all 4 games.  We are currently tied for first place so I don't want that to happen

Tia, I took advantage of my liberal leave day.  I'll probably be sorry when I get into work tomorrow and have to bust butt to get my current project done by day's end.

I'm thankful for:

1)  Being home and safe with my hubby and puppies
2)  That I have great friends
3) That I can read.  Sounds silly.  If I couldn't read, I wouldn't be on here.  But, I have to say, reading gives me so much pleasure.  Takes me places I'll never see and lets me experience those things I may never do myself.

My big dog went from the top landing to the 2nd step to the ground this morning.  Luckily she was on a leash and I was safely in the doorway.  She needed steadying to come back up.  The little dog made it down the steps fine, but couldn't get a grip to come back up!  I used her lease like a life-line.  I think that was enough for her.  She's been sleeping on my desk ever since.
