I just got off the phone with Brandi's mom. She is doing well in recovery. However once Dr. Singh got in, he found an issue that he had to take care of and the RNY will be rescheduled in 2-3 months.

Mom said that Brandi will be heartbroken... and that she was so mentally prepared for this surgery today.

Let's make sure to show her lots of OH love and support when she returns. Mom also said she should be getting out of the hospital tomorrow.

Oh, no, poor Brandi!!!!! Yes, she'll be heartbroken, but hopefully, she'll realize that Dr. Singh did the right thing, maybe alleviating serious issues in the future.

Maybe she'll join us for breakfast at Mimi's so we can give her face-to-face support.

I can't even imagine how disappointed I would have been in her shoes. But I'm sure she will realize that her Dr. had to take care of the other issue first and that in a few months she'll get a do-over.

Awe, poor Brandi! There is a reason for everything..and this just means that she will be healthier when it is her time to have the RNY, and that will more than likely make for a much easier recovery!!

OH no --- poor thing but Dr.Singh is a skilled Physician and would not do something
to endanger his patient . We will just have to give her all the moral support
we can muster.

OK, I am totally bummed for Brandi. But thank goodness Dr Singh discovered this "issue" and is taking care of it before this major surgery takes place! I wish her all the best
