Hey April!
Mars has the Powerade Zero for .88!!! I've been clipping the coupons, too!! I only like the strawberry and the mixed berry. I don't like grape flavored ANYTHING - except snowballs and soda! Yeah, I'm weird that way!! LOL!!!!
Glad you broke through the stall - and girl, celebrate that 250!!!! Anything less than your pre-op starting weight is something to shout about!!
Hugs,
Tia

Good Morning All,
Tia - I am so glad you are doing better after the double whammy!
Nic and April - Congrats on the weight loss. You are doing great!
Dusty - Glad you are hanging in there!
There are a lot of things going on at work and I really need to buckle down and focus. As the result, I am going to have to force myself to limit my time during the day with you. It will be hard and I truly enjoy the ongoing connection with all of you. Even though you won't see me as often, please know that I value each and every one of you. I will still be here and will check-in at least once a day (I can't go cold turkey, after all)!
Today, I am grateful that ...
1 - I need to send my boots back. I ordered a pair of boots that arrived over the weekend (it was a super good deal) and I tried them on last night. They are wide calf, because I have always needed wide calf. Plus I am a tall girl and I am just built bigger. Well imagine my surprise when there were disgustingly too loose. It was not just a little, but a lot of extra space all the way around. I guess I have to readjust my thinking. So back they go!
2 - Babies - I went to a cousins baby's Christening yesterday. It was one of the most precious Christenings I have ever been to and the star of the show was the reason. She was the only one being Christened so we were all able to stand close. As the priest went through the rite, she would just look at him and break out in smiles. When he would hold his hand up in blessing, she would look at his hand with wonder and reach out as if to join hands. She was an angel through the whole thing. It was truly a special event and I am glad I was there to see it.
3 - Learning the difference between just enough and too much. I have always had a horrible time with doing too much. This weekend, I have several events to attend that required bringing some things. I always feel like I have to bring more than one thing and I laways try to do something that I beyond reason for the amount of time I have to do it. I really struggled over this once again. In the end, I managed to do something fairly simple for each event and it was just fine. People were pleased and all is well. I know I am not "cured" so I need to keep practicing this one.
Have a super day!
Debbie

good morning Tia. It's good to see you :)
1. talking to new friends on the phone (yes I actually picked it up and talked on it....can you believe it? LOL)
2. job security (I hope)
3. Even though I'm stalled on my weight I believe I'm still losing inches so that's a good thing. I'm down to a 42" waist :)
