It's really happening!!

I feel like I've been planning to have this surgery FOREVER and I've hit some many bumps in the road that I was sure something would go wrong again this time. But, as of this morning, my RNY for Monday is a GO!! I am just a bundle of nervous excitement and I don't know what to do with myself!

Wooooo hoooooo Brandi!!!  I am so excited for you.  You are not by yourself we are all here for you and with you.

I am sooo happy for you. I remember all of the conflicting emotions I had right before surgery. It was like each step I took in those last days was surreal, right until the moment I walked into the OR. Then, when it was over, I remember asking myself, what was I worried about. This is fine. I am fine. And then, the rest of the fun starts! So, just take it one step at a time and you will be on the losers bench and enjoying your post-surgery evolution in no time at all!

Congratulations!!!  Doesn't it just all of a sudden creep up on ya??  I remember that!  No matter how much planning it takes, it just seems to get here before you know it once you get the date!!  I'll make room for ya over here on the losers bench!!

You know there are days that I sit here 3 1/2 months post op and cant believe I actually did it! I get so excited to see my small wow moments and it is kinda almost surreal for me to see that scale constantly move! I am so proud of myself for the decision I made to take control of my health FINALLY!
