Dr. K.  He's my HERO.  He saved my life!!!!  And Aaron, don't show off!  I barely got down and around those halls 3 times.  Ouch.  But I did get up at 1:30 when they thought my room was on fire!  You've never seen a surgery patient or some nurses move so quickly!

OMG!!! LOLOL On fire??? That is crazy! He is so my hero too! He is an amazing surgeon. I didnt know until I watched that video that it was Maryland Law for bypass surgery to be covered by insurance companies. WOW!

Yes, MD law mandates that insurance companies must cover, however, many employers intentionally exclude it from their policies as it is quite expensive.  You would think that they would want their employees to become health and therefore have less claims in the long run.

Yeah really!!! My insurance paid every penny for mine. THANK GOD!

your room was on fire????  OMG!!!!  which room were you in?  I was in the one that was down that little hallway in front of hte nurse's station close to the elevators

I was around the corner from that room, but still near the nurses station.  They came rushing in saying that I had to move rooms, because my room smelled like smoke.  They got me up and down the hall and went into that room and . . . 
                   . . . that room smelled like smoke too.  They didn't kow what to do at that point, so they called security.  Security told them that there was a house fire about 3 blocks over and the smoke was coming in through the ventilation system.  That was a good laugh.  Only thing is, it sent my husband into an asthma attack and he ended up in the E.R.
