does anyone attend planet fitness gym in ellicot city.
I was just wondering if anyone was attending planet fitness because I was considering getting a membership there. I would really like some feedback from people who actually go so I can get a feel for the place before I sign up for a membership.

While I'm not a member of Planet Fitness, I was considering joining the one in Towson near where I live. I stopped by and checked it out after work, since that was the time I planned on going to the gym the most. I discovered everyone else and their mother was at the gym at the time I wanted to go - right around 4:30. I decided not to join based on that fact - that it would be way too crowded for me to even get on a machine by 4:30 when I'd be arriving.
Have you checked it out yet in person? You could always ask some members as they are going in or leaving their workouts how they like the facility. That's another thing I did. Everyone I talked to said they loved it but the post-work day crowd was an issue for all of them. Just something to think about.

I go to the Planet Fitness in Dundalk. I love it......everyone is so friendly and the gym is full of all different kinds of people. I have never felt self conscious or awkward. I pay 20 bucks a month for the "black card" membership which allows me full use of the gym, unlimited time with their trainers, tanning, massage chairs, and 1/2 off cooler drinks.....I also got a t shirt when I signed up. I love the 30 minute weight circuit....its a bunch of weight machines designed to get you in and out in 30 minutes while working all of your major muscles groups. In between machines you use a step to do some cardio work. If you go and tell them you're thinking of signing up, they'll take you on a tour to check things out. Good luck!!
My hubby goes to the one in Glen Burnie. He paid 199.99 up front and it covered 24 months I think. I use Big Vanilla but I may switch soon. ;o) I mean Mike gets unlimited tanning at Planet Fitness and he soooooooooooo doesnt need that with his Italian blood but I NEED IT! LOLOL They have great perks!! :o)
