HAPPY SATURDAY EVENING!!!

Hey all!!  Yes, she lives!!!  LOL!!!!  Thanks for the TONS of texts, calls, emails and PM's.  Late last Sunday night, Mom came down with the stomach flu, followed by Dad and then me.  Mom's still not feeling 100%, but Dad and I are fine.  I was soooooo grateful that I didn't get the vomiting part - I've not had a stomach bug since wls, and was kind of wondering if we vomit the same way!!  I still don't know!!!  LOL!!!

My dental surgery went well, and surprisingly, after the first day (Thursday), I really wasn't in any pain.  The swelling's a different story though - I look like a mutant chipmunk - just on the left side of my face!!  Actually, it's kind of scary, since that side of my face looks pre-op!!!!

I'm glad to have stopped taking the Percoset - I'd forgotten it gave me really weird dreams.  Thursday night, I dreamt that we had five Happys!!!!  They were each the size of the real Happy and couldn't stand to be separated from each other, so I had to bathe them at the same time in the tub!!  LOL!!!!  Bathing one Happy is plenty, thanks!!!  Then last night, I had a dream that combined my very first boyfriend and the last guy I was actually interested in - for sure I don't know what made me think of my very first one!!!  Just too weird!!

I've got 7 stitches in my mouth, and some of the stitches have already come loose, which is really annoying, but normal, so says the dentist.  Basically, he cut across the gumline of four teeth, and opened up the root of one of the teeth from the side, removed an abcess, which also took part of the bone, sealed the root and injected liquid bone.  Fun, huh?  It really wasn't bad, once I got past the S-I-X needles that it took to numb me.  Honestly, after that, I didn't feel a thing!!!  It helps that he's a wonderful specialist.  I go back on Thursday to get the stitches out, and until then, it's pretty much soft foods for me!!  I stocked up on Greek yogurt, protein shakes, cottage cheese and popsicles ahead of time, but of course, I'm CRAVING crunchy stuff!!!!  (shaking head).

So it looks like the board was pretty tame, and although I haven't been on the boards all week, I've gotten periodic updates. 

Monday's a State holiday, so I may not be back full force until Tuesday, but then.....LOOK OUT!! LOL!!

Actually I am just leaving my partime job so I wont be back on the board till Monday but I just wanted to say hi!

Yucky about the dental surgery but glad it went ok

and even more yuck about being sick

but wow!! I used to have some crazy dreams when I had to take vicoden after my arm surgery several years ago...lol yes they can be kinda weird!

You got 7 stitches?? HOLY CHIT GIRL! LOLOL WTH???? LOL I am glad your starting to feel better teeth pain can be the WORSE EVER!!!!!! ;o) Sorry about the stomach bug. I thought I was getting one too but nope.....it wasnt *KNOCK ON WOOD*. I am under the weather though with a bad cold. I miss Mikey here to take care of me. haha He is at work at his second job damn it!!! LOL

Yep, sista, S-E-V-E-N!!!!  Like I said, the worst was the numbing part of the procedure - always makes my eyes water and makes me feel like I'm gonna go through the roof!!!  ICK!!!

Today, I just look like I'm storing nuts for the winter on one side of my face!!  LOL!!!

Sorry you're bugged down with a cold - Delsym cough syrup and Mucinex rock for this kind of stuff!!  Keep yourself hydrated, honey!!!

Well looked who it is. Tia I'm a dental assistant and that just sounds awful. Glad you were numb and everything is ok. Go get some rest so you can enjoy the big game tomorrow.

Yep, the procedure was an apicoectomy - LOTS of fun!!!  The endo who did it, Dr. Charles Mann, just rocks!!  I can't say enough good things about the man - he actually dispelled my fear of dentists!!!

Ouch on the 7 stitches girl I am deathly afraid of mouth surgery.   I hope you heal quickly and be back on the board more I have missed you very much!

Hi sweetie!!!

I think one day this week, I'll do a weird dreams post - I bet I win!!  LOL!!!  My poor brother - any time I call him and say, "Let me tell you about this dream I had," his first words are, "Oh, God....!" because he KNOWS what's coming!!  LOL!!!!

Trust me, the mouth surgery wasn't bad - keep in mind that I was numb, but getting those damn needles and hearing them *pop* through the skin in my mouth - !!!

I forgot, and I'm sorry, to ask you how the shower went.  I'm so sorry I couldn't be there, but I do have some stuff for Mr. Edwards.  We'll get together soon, I promise!!!
