PCP's and Finding one...
I have been seein a CRNP in Reisterstown and she left her practice to go teach at Johns Hopkins... To make a long story short, I hate the replacement Doctor. She and I are not seeing eye to eye. She thinks WLS is not right for me, and I disagree and so did the CRNP and my surgeon... but she is stalling me big time, not returning calls, can't get appts, etc. She has even cancelled an appointment on me -- the day of the appt...
In short, I need a new one. I would love to find one that has experience with RNY patients, etc. The new doc has not a patient with WLS and has no idea how to treat me as a larger patient even. My NUT (Arlene Swantko) recommended someone but of course, my insurance is not accepted there...
I would love to find someone in Catonsville, Woodlawn, etc. Anyone have anyone in the Baltimore area? LOL
Thanks guys!!

I love my PCP, who is a CRNP and the best "doctor" I've ever had. She's been fully supportive of my WLS. Here's the info:

I checked with my insurance and she is not listed, but will be calling there on Monday... Any chance she is affiliated with a specific doctor in a group? Not sure CRNP's are listed under find a doctor -- hoping they aren't!!
I googled the phone number and it mentions Jacob Levine -- he is covered, I have hope again! LOL

I found one :)
I ended up randomly going through my insurance company's website and calling... I called a Dr. Taylor at Seton (Same building as Dr Averbach's office.... Just go straight through the front door to the back office!) and although Dr Taylor could not fit me in for weeks, they have a new doctor in their practice who got me in the next day!
I met with Dr. Usha who moved from Glen Bernie and really liked her -- and she has been seeing patients who have had WLS for over 10 years now! It was a great random pick!
All's well that ends well and I have a new PCP that I like!

They can't get me in until the 28th, but I think I may go with Karen Minor if I can't get someone closer to my office... I am having a horrible time finding ANYONE close to me that my insurance covers... most of the doctors listed on the MultiPlan (insurance) website are no longer with the practice that they are listed on and the practice has no idea what MultiPlan is... Getting extremely frustrated!
