that darn colonoscopy test

Well....Friday I will have another colonoscopy so I will be on clear liquids tomorrow. It will be a great opportunity to clean out......I know TMI. At least I will have the day off which is a plus. Tomorrow I will probably leave work early as I will be prepping all day. I have to drink a bottle of Citrate of Magnesia at 5:00 pm. I will be home by then though. By 2:00 pm I will be on my 3rd dose of Dulcolax (2 tabs) so I may leave work early if needed.

So, keep me in mind on Friday.......lol

Oh Gail - I feel for you. I had to do that twice the the year before my surgery ( I had a complication that had to heal and then be retested). I think the prep is the worst part! Hopefully, it will all be smooth sailing for you (or at least the test itself will).

Sorry you have to go through all that!!  I almost had to have one last year but was lucky to have only had a sigmoidoscopy...well, not sure how lucky since you don't get anything and it HURTS!!!!

As for the colonoscopy I had one once and HATED IT! I hated drinking that nasty crap the whole day before. I feel for ya. I hope for your sake its over and done with rather fast. ;o)
