Getting Taller???????????

have any of you heard about people actually getting taller after WLS?  I wore pants with a 29 or 30" inseam for all my life and now I'm finding that I now have to get 32" inseams...........has this happened to you???????  it's kinda cool but wierd at the same time.

But I think because are bodies are so different clothes fit much differently now. (of course things are getting big) I just mean that out bodies reflect our weight much different than it used to so things just might fit different now.

I also used to notice the larger the waist the longer the leg (like all heavy people are tall...but whatever) so now that you are getting into smaller sizes maybe the length is more proportionate

yeah what's up with that....just because one is big doesn't mean they're tall!  LOL  if I was proportionate to my weight when i was big, I would have had to be at least 9 feet tall!  LOL

Yes I have heard of this happening since there is less pressure on the spinal discs, and also I think the extra room down below is because of the shrinking seat.  :-)

LOL yeah the butt is gone for me.....however with the shrinking size I would have thought that the pant legs would get longer...I guess it must be the spine thing......

YUP!!! I just saw this on something last week too I have to comb through my saved websites. It has something to do with all the protein and calcium. A woman went from 5'2 to 5'4 and was in shock. I actually think she was mad. hahahahahaha But yup I have heard of that happening. Who would have thunk it???

it's amazing!  in some clothes i could almost go for a 33" inseam!  i know I'm taller than my parents now......but they are old LOL

OH MY GAWD!!!  I love your new avatar booboo!  You are looking great!  The difference in your inseam must be from the shift in body shape and maybe the way pants hang?  Not sure, but as a tall person, taller's better! LOL OH, AND it's probably from less weight pulling down compressing your spine (making you shorter with more weight).  Just a thought.
