I'm grateful for the following:

1.  That the Ravens Won!

2.  I managed to sleep well last night - my port area has been bothering me.

3.  I've been given another day to enjoy!

I am sorry to read that your port has been bothering you.  Did you call your surgeon? I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Good morning all!

Darla,  I am sorry you are feeling so sick. I hope you get to feeling better soon.  Rest and have chicken soup it helps (homemade is better)

Today I am grateful for:

1. That my son didn't pop his eye out when he did a flip and busted his eye. There was blood everywhere made me freak out. Thank goodness no stitches just two steri strips.

2. Glad that the ER was not a madhouse like in NY.  In and out within an hour and a half!

3. For warm clothes, socks, booties and gloves! Damn I am freezing all the time now. lol

First of all I am grateful and happy that I finally got to meet Darla face to face at the gym yesterday.

Secondly, I am grateful that I have a job that I love in this economy

Thirdly, I am grateful that I am still detaching from others problems. that's a biggie for me!!!!

Happy Tuesday all,

Today, I am grateful for....

1 - Sweaters - Brrrr - And to think it is only going to get colder! At least sweaters with layers underneath keep me toasty. I used to have very few choices and no sweaters before surgery. As Martha would say, it is a good thing!

2 - Pilates class - I really enjoyed Pilates class last night, as I do every week. Our trainer really pushes us. I feel so much stronger and accomplished when I leave that class. I get into positions that I did not think was possible for me! (Of course, I also feel like I just got off of a horse - LOL!) Organized exercise is definitely the better choice for me. Although I do need to work in the other stuff too!

3 - No grazing last night - I managed to not have any snacks when I got home from the gym last night. This is my most dangerous time. I definitely looked around, picked things up, and put them back down. Now I have to string some more days like this back to back to get stronger on this temptation!

I am so proud of you!  But if you snack on something make sure it is something with good protein in it.  Buy some beef jerky it will keep you busy chewing and it is great on protein.
