Good morning weekend lurkers !!!

Good Saturday a.m. happy OH-ers,

It's been quite a while since I've started a thread, much less done my old standby weekend lurker one!

It looks like we have dodged the bullet (or is that snow/sleet/freezing rain) yet again.   It was looking pretty gray earlier, but it's getting brighter out.   Not sure the sun will actually appear, but it's not quite so dismal.

I've been up for about 3 hours already, had a protein shake and made a pot of decaf to enjoy.   Mr Mo is home but 'telecommuting' at the moment.  I'm about to go downstairs and cook some breakfast.   The protein shake helps but by 9 or 9:30 I need something more substantial in my pouch.

I keep thinking I want to go through my closet and clean it out.  Get rid of the few things that I missed when I did the big purge 4 years ago, and be realistic about the stuff I have kept ... if I haven't worn it by now or if it's not in the regular rotation .. it can GO !!!!!   That sounds like a good job for this weekend .. will keep me occupied.   Then I just have to actually get the stuff to Goodwill or Salvation Army!

We've got plans tonight to go out with our fire truckin' group so I am thrilled that the weather has changed and we probably won't be canceled!   Tomorrow might involve a trip to the mall just to walk around, or maybe a trip to the new Target in Annapolis depending on the temperature!   I feel a trip to Bowie Town Center coming on .. but that will need to be a REALLY pleasant day to be outside.

What's up for you this weekend?

Hugs, Mo

p.s.  Margie .. if you are lurking .. ((( hugs )))  Hope you and N are doing well.

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

One of the negatives about moving back up to PA is the weather.  I know when I moved to MD I was told by someone that where I was staying the bad weather rarely went past the mountain, whatever that means.  But apparently, it is true.  Anyway, I have to hope to dodge bullets today.

I'm taking a ride with my sister to the Philadelphia International Airport to pick up my 20 year old nephew, who had to suffer through 8 days of 90 degree weather in Florida.  My heart goes out to him.  LOL.  Anyway, the snow stopped here and is supposed to pick back up after 4:00.  We should be home safe and sound by then.

This afternoon and tonight I will be living in front of the TV watching playoff football.  Like I said yesterday, since I consider myself an adopted Marylander I will be rooting for the Ravens and then, of course, tomorrow for my Eagles.  An all I-95 Super Bowl would be nice.  Have a great day everybody.

I forgot ALL about football !!  Can you tell I am not truly a fan ?       I've got the XM radio cranked up here at the moment.    We are going out about 4 o'clock which I think is about the time the Ravens game starts???   I will check on it though.   I am sure the restaurant we are going to has a bar with a TV that we can check the game!

Hugs, Mo

Hi Mo!!!! Happy Saturday honey. I dont have any plans today. Mikey is working and I am getting odds and ends done around the house. I also have to update my daycare website and redo some tax papers. So I will be plenty busy here at home. ;o)

Have a great weekend. ;o)

Happy Saturday yourself !!!   I have yet to get started on the closet but maybe when I get up from here!   OR .. maybe I'll put on my sneakers and go downstairs and do a workout thingy first.   I skipped my workout yesterday a.m. planning to do it either after work or double up today!

Happy Saturday (((((MO)))))

yesterday was just a terrible day.  Thursday night I indulged in a few sugar alcohols which lead to me going to the bathroom about 12 times yesterday.....got dehydrated and dizzy and fevered.......but I lost about 10 pounds........now I gotta go wash my bed linens :(  today is a better day!

((( Aaron )))

I've had a mild case  the opposite of yours .. I've cut back on carbs and cranked up the protein this week and as a result, I've not felt bloated, but things haven't moved as freely either
..

I'm sorry you had to go through that ... it's bad enough when it's planned (like for a colonoscopy) but to have to endure it for no reason other than a food choice that didn't agree ... arghhhhhh!!!!

Hope you are getting those fluids back into you and getting back to your happy self today!

Hugs, Mo

OMG how much sugar alcohol you had? I have gotten gassy and gone to bathroom alot but never got dehydrated and feverish, Maybe you got a virus going on there too.  I hope you get to feeling better soon and get lots of clear liquids in.

Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
