Okay lets see

I grew up in Baltimore City so when I was in the 5th grade I was voted MOST OUTSTANDING STUDENT IN ALL OF BALTIMORE
CITY SCHOOLS! I had to go meet the Mayor and get an award and I just recall it being big stuff and on the news. It was Mayor William Donald Schaffer back then too. I still have the award. WOOT WOOT! hahaha

Then in High School I made the Capital newspaper when a bunch of teachers turned me in as TEEN OF THE WEEK. It was an article of the paper that featured a special teen every Sunday. They interviewed me at a Special School I volunteered at. I so loved that!!!

I had all 4 of my kids by the time I was 24 years old. PHEW!

My only son was born with a very rare muscle disease and when he was alive he was only one of 12 in the NATION alive with that muscle disease. I miss him everyday!!!!

The singer Toni Braxton went to school with my husband and her brother Mike lives here in Pasadena. He was my sons nurse for several years when my son was alive. He was one of the BEST NURSES WE HAD!!!!!!!

When I was in 12th grade I dated Stevie B from the radio station 92Q hahaha

Okay I best stop now. haahhahahahahaha

And now ya know......next........................

ok....I am a little older than most of you guys. My kids watched Captain Chesapeake.

However, I did appear on a show on channel 13 called People are Talking with Oprah Winfrey and Richard Sherr. I was in line to be the next person at the mike to ask the doctor a question. Someone spoke out behind me in line during a commercial and they put her in front of me. There was only enough time for 1 more question.....seriously, I really was!!!! Anyway you did get a good look at the back of my head which was a big frizzy perm at the time. My sister was a cosmotologist and she use to put perm rods in my hair but not put the solution on it. Then, she would tease it all out. One New Years morning after having my hair fixed like that for New Year's eve my son brought one of his friends from outside while I was still in bed up to my bedroom to see my hair. It was hilarious!!!!

OK...this is a bit further back so maybe you could ask your parents if they remember. The Lorenzo show. I wasn't on the show but Gerry Wheeler (Lorenzo) lived in an apartment building near my house. He was on channel 13 from 1962-1965. We would go to his apartment and ring the bell and he answered the door in a long navy blue velour robe. Although he played a hobo on tv he was quite good looking without his makeup.

A few things about me that you don't know are:

1.  I am in the Who's Who of American High School Students.  I can't remember off hand if it was 1992 or 1993 Edition.

2.  I went to Camden Yards i***** for the filming of Major League II.

3.  In high school I was involved in many activities such as:  Cheerleading, Volleyball, Wrestling Manager, Baseball Manager, and I was on the Swim Team, Junior Class President, and I was a member of many school clubs.  Maybe that's why they voted me Most School Spirited my senior year lol.

I was very active growing up, but now I lead a boring life lol.
