Well, the last few years our biggest service has been stuffing socks with toiletries and delivering them to the disadvantaged/homeless in Baltimore.  We spend all year buying the toiletries and socks...then usually "stuff" them all at 1 or 2 meetings...we are delivering this year in February...we make the socks for men, women AND children.  When they come through the line (we do it in conjunction with another group that gives food, clothes, and other things away), we get whole families...it is so sad.  We raise our money by working Orioles games concession stands during Baseball season....anyhow...that's our biggest project.  The last 2 years we have raised enough funds to also be able to send needed items to the troops in Baghdad and Afghanistan...it's very rewarding!!

My sister's were on Professor Kool  - I must have been too young.
But I was on PINBUSTERS and I won 2 weeks in a row.
Gee, how pitiful - that's the most exciting thing I can tell you all about me???
Well, actually, I do have something else more exciting than PINBUSTERS but can't write it here (damn, that's gonna kill you Tia, isn't it??).
Peace

Me too! Me too! LoL!

I stood in line for Professor Kool but never got on stage, it was being held at a fair that particular day.

.... but on the Captain Chesapeake photo... He was in Hawthorne at the Fish Store next door to King's Hallmark Cards or was that a craft store?  He just reminded me of a creepy older guy! I promise, I do NOT still have that photo!

LoL!

I remember Capt. Chesapeake. I used to rush home to eat chicken noodle soup and watch scooby doo. LOL

I wanted to be Barbie growing up. I had everything Barbie in my bedroom and I used to hide in my Barbie tent from my mom when I was mad. I was an only child until I was 9.

I returned to College in 2002 after a long hiatus had to work because I was a single Mom to my 2 girls at the time however, I managed to obtain my AA, BS and will have my MA conferred this Sunday. I am so excited. However, I am pursuing a 2nd bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies and my classes start on Tuesday.

My grandmom teases me and said I will be an old lady still going to school... LoL

Ooooh, Barbie, you shouldn't have told me that!!!!  LOL!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin' impressed by your continuing education goals!!  It's hard enough to be that committed when you're single, let alone with all the responsibilities you have.

CONGRATS!!!!

Tia
