OT update on hobe almost died

went to Dr. yesterday he did blood work will find out today how the count is hopefully it will be normal i have to go back to him in a week he said i am still very pale and week from all the blood loss and that it will take time to regain my streangth . i also saw my surgon yesterday he is going to do and endoscope on wednesday to make sure everything is fixed. they said this could happen again so if i feel strange in any way to get to the ER right away. that is a scary thing to know it could happen again. i am also very leary of the ER. since they made me wait for 4 hours and i almost died. but i will update when i find out anything keep me in your prays i need all i can get

I'm sorry for everything you've been through and I'm glad you made it!  At least you're on the road to recovery and addressing the issues.  You'll be in my thoughts and prayers :-)

Hmmm, I am glad your surgeon is going to do the double check. I don't like the fact that this could happen again either. Is someone with you at all times as you try to recover your strength? I would feel better if there was someone you could call out to right away just in case. Keep following MD orders to build up your strength. You are definitely in my prayers!

Glad to see you posting.  Maybe your doc will suggest a hematologist, who can even more carefully track your bloodwork.  Maybe a transfusion or an iron infusion would help.  Transfusions help immediately, iron infusions take longer to build up.  Neither is unpleasant, just lengthy.

Just curious, what ER did you go to?

hobe so sorry that things are going so slowly for you. er's suck so bad, don't they? there are other types of places, called urgent care centers, you might want to look into, find one close to you just in case. give them a call and find out how they deal with emergencies so you know what to expect. also, have an advocate to help you if this happens again. let us know if we could help. not sure if you are married or have other people living with you. we can help out if you do not.

yes my hubby is only 3 mins away and my girlfrind is here when he is at work. i am feeling alittle better today then yesterday i just get tired real fast thank you all for your prays

I hate the waiting in ERs it is so frustrating that there is an emergency going on, yet we have to wait hours while possibly getting worse by the minute. 
I hope you are feeling well again very soon and that your WLS surgeon stays in communication with any other doc you see to help facilitate appropriate treatment of your health issues.  Take care of you.
