Since the Feed Bag usually focuses on what we ate the day before, I thought I'd post this today.  The regular Feed Bag will resume tomorrow!!

Today, I'm committed to ridding myself of the dreaded carb monster!!  I've been reading that this is a problem for a lot of people - truthfully, I'm GLAD the holidays are over so that the carb-laden foods will go away for a while!!!!!

Today, I'm going to have:

B - Greek yogurt with South Beach Living cereal (Thanks for the tip, Kath!!!  Giant has Chobani Greek yogurt - 10 for $10!!!!)

L - Salmon salad

D - F/f refried beans (AARRRRRRON!!!!), with fresh salsa, cheese and Greek yogurt

For snacks, I've brought some Laughing Cow light cheese, a tangerine, an apple w/pb and a s/f Jello pudding.  I don't plan to eat all of that, but I wanted to make sure I had enough choices here at work.

Additionally, I've got my 5 bottles of water lined up for this a.m.  I already had 48 oz. of coffee, plus 2 bottles of water, so I'm on my way...............to the potty!!!!!

What do YOU plan to eat today?

Pre Breakfast - I did half of a protien bullet

B-Eggbeaters w/ cheese, salsa and hopefully some banana if I have room (I really have to get better about my veggies and especially fruit!! I try to focus on protein first but thats all I seem to get in...lol)

L-Chicken/cheese wrap

D- Repeat of Lunch

For Snacks I have Almonds, Strawberries, and String Cheese. Same thing here, dont plan on eating all that just wanted to have alot of options :-)

I will go home and work out video and do a protein bar after my workout.

Hey April!!

Kudos to you for having it all planned out!  I find that it's MUCH easier to stay on track that way!!!

As far as getting in more fruits and veggies, I've always wished they had more protein, because they're SO much easier to eat, but yes, it IS important to focus on protein first, foremost and always!!!!

Have a great day!

Yeah - I was even telling my PCP MD about it on Friday. She has the  band and had not heard of it!

I haven't had breakfast yet, but did get in a 12 oz. cup of coffee.
I think for my New Years Resolution I need to work on getting in my water. I'm bad about that. I forget to drink.

B- I'll have Weight Control  Oatmeal and maybe some canteloupe

L- Salad (I didn't eat from last nights dinner) with cheese and beef stick in it.

S- Apple w/ peanut butter

D- Chicken breast w/ carrots (if I behave)

Also brought in some pretzels.

Hey Ren!!!!

You're still so "freshly post-op" that it IS hard to get in all your water.  It WILL get easier, I promise.  In the meantime, since I think you're chained to your desk like I, line your water bottles up in your line of sight.  As soon as you empty one, crack open the next!!!  It helps!!!

Hugs,

Tia

Can you believe I baked more Christmas cookies onSaturday. They were so darn good that I just had to have more. I promise to behave as soon as they are done. lol

B- Coffee & S/F Brown sgar and Maple Oatmeal made with 1/2 cup of 2% milk

L- 1 cup of White bean soup with beef that I made in the crock pot. Yummo

D- Chicken breast with mashed potatoes & corn

Snacks  will consist of string cheese & wheat thins, tangerine, yogurt and yes some Christmas cookies! lol
Yes I will eat all that since I am still nursing and if I don't keep my calories up I will lose more weight.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
