Happy New Year and Missing everyone!!!!
I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!!!!! I have been online even less than normal with the birth of 2 new Grandchildren and a slew of medical emergencies with my Mom's breast cancer surgery and both new Mom's hospitalized at the same time one having surgery too ,the other on IV antibiotics and planning surgery but that one was avoided. I couldn't help everyone as it was and online didn't happen nor did any of the things I do for my health and weight loss. Hopefully next week it is back to the pool and the trainer and eating right astarts now. I have just felt awful between not eating right and other problems physically and emotionally I have been a mess. And it has shown in my behavior. I hope to hit the next support group I sure do need it.
I hope you all had wonderful Holidays and a Happy New Year tonight. I am glad it is over and hoping for a quieter new year. Still no matter what my life is so different and so much better than before surgery. I have had a rough spell but I am so grateful for my surgery and my life now and the best part is I was able to help maybe not everyone. I can't split apart into multiple people but I was able to do things and help in ways I never dreamed 2 yrs ago and I know if I don't get back on track I can and will go back and I never want to be bedridden again.I never want my life in my dreams happier and more exciting than real life.I like wearing a seat belt and fiitting in chairs with arms.I like playing with my Grandchildren and just feeling alive and loving life. This surgery is a gift and a tool that I must work with and do what I have to to keep it but I sure am blessed to have had it and life sure is a beautiful gift beyond my wildest dreams.
HAPPY HOLIDAY TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Hopefully, things will calm down a bit so that you can get back to your routine. Isn't it great though, to know that even when these times happen, that you have the ability to get back on track? I know for me in the past, I would just give up when I went through times when I fell "off the eating plan". This is a major difference in the people we have become post WLS.
Wishing you all the best!
Debbie
