Wii Fit

My hubby got me a Wii and Wii Fit for Christmas. I really like it. It makes working out into a game but also kicks you into gear. It scolds you if you dont' use it for a day.  Now I just have to find the time to use it every day with my 1 year old running around.

Two thumbs up from this loser-wanna-be.

We just got the Wii, but I love it. The boxing is brutal on the Wii Sports game. I see lots and lots of people are using it. I may just cancel my never-used gym membership! I can't wait until I am light enough to use the Wii fit. I was told the limit is 300 and I'm a bit over.

Thanks for sharing!

The box on my Wii Fit said the weight limit was 330. I think they upped it for us "fat Americans". You may want to double-check!  The boxing is brutal. I've only done that once, and I didn' t think it was going to end lol.

GREAT gift !    I want a Wii and the Wii Fit, but there are a few other things that we 'need' first.   In the meantime, since I have canceled my Big Vanilla (gym) membership, I bought the 5 CD  Walk the Pounds Away at Home set, and I'm getting set up to work that into my daily schedule.   If I can get back into the routine of getting up at 4:30 a.m. I'll do it before work, otherwise, it will be as soon as I get home from work in the afternoon.   The early morning thing typically works better for me, because I'm only sleeping then, whereas at 5 p.m there are other things that conflict for time!

Enjoy your Wii.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I bought Wii for my Grandson's this Christmas (to leave at Grandma's house, since they are over every weekend).  I was surprised at what a workout you can get from those games.  Of course, you can learn how to cheat and sit down to play some of the games, but what good is that.  I really want the Wii Fit, but will have to wait.

While I was out shopping for the holiday's, Game Stop in Annapolis Mall has pre-owned Wii game systems under $200.00.
