3:20 P.M. UPDATE!! GO, DARLA, GO, DARLA!!!

Okay, everybody!!!  I won't divulge all her business here, but Darla's REALLY in pain, thinking gallbladder or appendix.  This has been going on sporadically for the last couple of days.

She emailed me to tell me that she's "thinking" of going to the ER.  WTF???  Thinking??????

She ALWAYS procrastinates - it worries and infuriates me.  So maybe if all of YOU tell her to get her butt to the ER, she will!!!  SIGH.

ETA @ 10:20 A.M. - Darla's on her way to see her PCP at St. Joe's.  I'll keep you updated!

11:35 - Darla's PCP is sending her to the ER for bloodwork and a sonogram.  She doesn't think it's appendicitis OR gallbladder, but did mention the possibility of a hernia. 

3:20 - Prepping (YUM) for CT scan.

i agree with tia. you should go sweetie. if you are in that much pain, it could be serious. you don't want to mess with that!!!

DARLA - PULEEEESE! You don't want to risk something more serious by delaying. Get thee to the ER NOW, Please! Don't make us beg! We care about you!

Gall bladder I bet - it's not going to get better - better get it out! I went through 2 years of not knowing what it was and I tell you it was miserable for me, with the attacks lasting longer than hours at a time.

Appendix causes nausea - and I'd think it's steady pain.

Go Darla - please - you'll feel gazillions better if it is in fact your gall bladder and they take it out.

Glad she is on her way!!

I hope they can figure out what is wrong and get her pain under control soon!!

St. Joe's in Towson.  She said, "If my doctor wants me to go to the ER, I think I'll go to GBMC, that's where all my doctors are."  I told her if she didn't go RIGHT there to the ER at St. Joe's that I'd be giving her a beating.  She stayed at St. Joe's!!!!!!  LOL!!!!

I'll keep you updated.  If I hear anything after I leave work at 4, I'll call you!!
