First, I have to say thank you to two of my dearest friends. They know who they are. Two, beautiful women who offered rides home for me last night when I returned from NJ. I am so blessed to have such dedicated friends. So, thank you ladies for the offer. I made it home safe and sound, just sleepy, lol. Your offers touched me so much, and warmed my heart.
Second, I hope everyone has a great week. Hopefully it's a short week for everyone. It's not for me, but since I am paid overtime for working the holiday, I'm very fairly compensated for my hard work this week. Plus, like many of us, I'm very grateful to have a job during this difficult economic time. I can't believe that 2008 is almost a memory. It's gone by so fast! What an awesome year it has been for me. I hope that for those who also had an awesome year, that we can all top it in 2009. But, I hope even more, that those who had a bad year, or a challenging year in 2008 will see only great things, and dreams come true in 2009. ALL of us here are an awesome group, and we all deserve nothing but the best out of life.
Hopefully things at work will slow down enough to allow me a little more time here and in real life with all of my amazing friends. Not too much, as good business means a secure job. Love to all. Happy Holiday, whichever one (or more) you celebrate, and a HAPPY, SAFE, HEALTHY, LOSING 2009!!!

I was suppose to be off all this week on vacation but I chose to open Monday Tuesday and Wednesday to make up for a few days I took off before surgery. I didnt take off ANY after surgery and still had plenty of vacation time but I chose to go ahead and work 3 days this week. I get paid either way though. I do daycare at home so most of the families just went ahead and paid me for this week and are keeping their children home with them to give me more of a break which is SUPER SWEET! I only have two children here this Mon-Wed out of 8 so thats not too bad. It will still feel like I am off. And I close early Wed and am off Thur and Friday. Thank God! I am still recouping from this surgery and its been ROUGH on me. The crying and paranoia to eat has been AWFUL! I am taking it one day at a time. :o)
