We are headed to Buddy's Crabs & Ribs in Annapolis for our traditional Christmas feast.   We started that when my nephew was fairly young and it seemed like a safe place to take a 3 or 4 year old.   Now that he's 15, we can't afford to take him to a 'real' restaurant .. can you say 'growing' boy .. lmao.   Buddy's is just another one of those funny things that we started (like the zoo for Thanksgiving) when Charles was  young and has endured.   My sister called last week and just said .. I assume we are having our traditional dinner at the usual place!!!  I had given some thought to changing the place, but why mess with a sure thing.

If it involves bringing a dish of some sort .. you can count on me for the buffalo chicken dip (and yes, one of these days I will actually start a post with the recipe!!!).

Hugs, Mo

p.s.   I forgot that I have a bone in turkey breast in the freezer that I need to get out to defrost.   Think I will fix that over the weekend.   I'm going to try to do it in the crock pot.   Maybe it will be moist enough for my finicky pouch that way!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hey Moie!!!

I love the idea of going to a restaurant for Christmas dinner - but there's no way anyone else in the family would EVER agree to that!!!  SIGH!!!

I figured you'd be taking the famous Buffalo Chicken Dip - my mouth (and nose) is watering just thinking of it!!!

Hugs,

The only thing I have to take to my sister's for Christmas is a horse...de...vour!!!!

She asked for the dill dip and bread I take every year. I guess I should be making something for my family for the morning or afternoon.

Oooooh, yummy, Gail!!!

If you need a good recipe, go to www.allrecipes.com - one of their best features is that you can type in the ingredients you have available, and it will come up with something using those ingredients!!

Happy Holidays!!
