Did you find that you didn't want to eat as you baked?  Astonishing, huh?

I dont have to take anything although I am tinkering with the idea of making something I know will be WLS friendly. Going into a houseful of diabetics and you would NEVER know it!!! Everything is full of carbs and sugars.....

My specialty is bbq meatballs.  Whenever I make them they go!  I had one lady here at work this year tell me she ate 7.  Wow!  They must have been good, but I didn't eat any.  Too much sugar right now.  I have thought about deviled eggs.  They are a good choice for us or a crab dip.  Someone this year had a chipped beef dip and that was very good.  Here's my menu for Christmas:
Honey Ham
Roast
Turkey Breast
Sweet Potatoes - bought one for me that I could bake and not drown in brown sugar and marshmellows
Greens
Macaroni/Shrimp salad
Mashed Potatoes
Macaroni & Cheese
Rolls
I'm leaving the deserts up to someone else.

Hey Lis!!!

I had deviled eggs last week with crab meat mixed in - I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it went well together, especially since it was topped with Old Bay!!!  There's nothing that Old Bay can't fix!!!

Your menu sounds a lot like ours.  Greens???  Salivating?  Collards?  OMG!!!  YUM!!!!!

Since Deb just gave me the recipe for the shrimp spread, I'm going to make that and crab dip for my aunt's New Year's Day Open House!!!  Yes, even on holidays, it's all about the protein!!!!

Make sure that you share the love with the shrimp dip recipe!!!  I just called my local seafood plant to make sure that I could pick up some fresh crabmeat tomorrow and they have jumbo lump for $20.75/lb.  Make that 2 for me please!!!  I think I'm going to make some crab cakes!!!
