3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY - 2 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!!
So today, I'm grateful for:
1. That I'm Type A and organized. I couldn't survive the holidays (and my family) if I wasn't!!!
2. Cards/holiday newsletters - I've really enjoyed the cards we've received this year, and yes, even the dreaded Christmas newsletters!!!! It's a great way to catch up with people.
3. That I'm off tomorrow. I've thought for years that Christmas Eve should be a holiday. First of all, it's a big travel day for some people and with church, dinners, etc., it just seems a crime to have to work on top of it!!!
Have a great day!
Tia
Yes, what a nice surprise to see you!!! I'm glad you're doing relatively well - yes, pain meds can be a gift!!!! I did call you on Saturday to check on you, when I didn't hear from you, I figured you were okay and would call me if you needed me!!!
Happy Bday to Emma for me!!!!
Hope everything heals the way it's supposed to this time!!! Don't forget your pillow for the ride to Joisey!!
Hugs,
Tia
Yes traffic did seem lighter this morning : unfortunatly last night that was not the case LOL
Ok today I am grateful:
1. That the last gift has been found and everything is bagged, wrapped or enveloped.
2. That my brother and sister in law from florida did a lot of stuff for my mom
yesterday and will be with her most of today ( can we say less for me to handle )
3. That the only thing left for me too do is get rid of some of the clutter on
my dresser/nightstands.
4. That Nic seems to be feeling better.
5. That I had a good Pilates class last night. Even got too see baby pictures!
So have a great day everyone
Hey Darla!!!
Thanks for checking on me yesterday!!! I promise, if I run away, you'll be among the first to know!! LOL!!!
I'm glad your Mom will have help - hopefully, that WILL mean less for you to do!!
Throw that clutter in a laundry basket and hide it in your closet!!!!!!! LOL!!!
I'll give you a shout later!

Well, my frantic activity level continues. My house is getting closer to being ready. My borther and nephew are stopping by to help me fini**** tonight. I will get my cards out, but they are simply going to be late this year. My apologies to those who are waiting on me! I also have more shopping to do, but I will do that after Christmas. Right now, everything is focus on those things necessary for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
1 - Letting Go - I am glad that I finally asked my brother and nephew to help me. It really eases some of the stress. I am not sweating the fact that each thing is not exactly how I would have done it, as long as it is presentable. And in the process of all of this, I am spending some "just us" time with both of them, something we really don't do very often.
2 - Thoughtfulness of others - I have already had a couple of surprises this holiday season from people I did not expect. That they would think to do these things for me is very special.
3 - That after today, I don't have to come into the office until January 5th! (I will still check in on my team in India each day before then, but these are not official work days for me.) I really need the rest as well as the time to enjoy with family and friends.
4 - Giving surprises to others - We had a little gift exchange in the office yesterday with a very small dollar limit. I had supplemented the gift I brought in with a single Lottery Scratch Off Ticket. Well, turns out that that ticket was a $500 winner! Everyone was quite surprised and it added a little extra excitement to the day!
Have a super day!

Hi Deb!!!
As I've fallen into bed each night exhausted, (after soaking in a hot tub), I thought of you and wondered if your manic activity level has persisted!!! As a very Type A person, I applaud you allowing yourself to be "helped"!!! Yeah, it might not be done exactly as YOU would do it, but at least, hopefully, you won't be so exhausted that you can't enjoy your friends and family.
That is so cool that your lottery ticket gift was a winner!!! I'm sure it'll help supplement someone's Christmas - or maybe pay bills afterward!!!
Hang in there and get some rest so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor!!
Hugs,
Tia
Enjoy the holidays with your family. It sounds like it is all shaping up to be a very special time indeed!
