wow moment

Today I weighed myself and I have now lost 80 lbs since my highest preop weight, and 72 since surgery.  Yesterday I was in some photos at a family get together, and I see myself as looking like me.  I do not gasp at the photos in shame and disgust at the bloated version of myself, as I have in recent years past.  I can tell that I am losing weight.  When I have to squeeze by somebody in a crowded room, I don't fear I won't fit through.  Today I weigh less than I did 5 yrs ago in 2003, and I can wear clothing in my closet that I haven't worn since then.  Hurray!  Now all I have to do is keep this up for 110-125 more lbs. I know it will happen.  It's the best gift I could have given myself.

Jennifer you look fabulous. I see the difference bigtime in pictures also. I went shopping for clothes the other night and purchased smaller sizes than when I was in HIGH SCHOOL!!! OMG!!!  I couldnt believe it :) I feel so awesome already I cant wait till I lose 100 more lbs, i cant imagine how much better I will feel!
