cheese
watch the fat content in those hot pockets.........even the lean pockets have a tremendous amount of fat.........you can have cheese but I would probably find a different way to eat it. if I can, I try to get fat free cheese.....Kraft makes an excellent fat free sharp cheddar cheese slices and they also make fat free shredded mozzarella.
if you don't dump on too much fat, any cheese should be fine. I had cheese my first month out (RD's suggestion) as I couldn't tolerate the lactose in the protein shakes. I am not a fan of non-fat cheese---it has to melt for me to like it. Plus non fat and low fat cheeses were hard for me to find unless I went to an out of the way grocery store. At 2 months out---I was fine with most hard cheese but could have never eaten the crust or other contents of a hot pocket.

I never had hot pockets so early out. But I did eat cheese that were not fat free. I had issues swallowing the fat free ones. It would get stuck. If you still want to try the hot pocket just make sure to eat a little bit and wait and see how you feel since you are so early out.
Best of luck trying new things.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I am fine with cheese and use it as a snack often. It is a good source of protein. I dont do the low-fat much either because it is dry to me and gets stuck. I am not sure I could or would do Hot pockets or lean pockets though. They are really high in sodium and fat as Aaron suggested. Also the crust provides alot of carbs. I have found this early out any form of carbs still dont agree with my pouch really well. It may be different for you but just giving you my expeierence. Best of luck!
