UGH!!!  Isn't it ironic how pre-op, you'd be scoping out the buffet tables, deciding what you wanted first - because you KNEW you were going to try ALL of it and then some??  Now, it makes your stomach turn.  I find that incredible and incredibly liberating - to not be a slave to food is something I never dreamed would happen!!!!

But everyone's right - don't shut yourself off from people - just from the poor food choices.  I think you'll find, too, that most things don't taste nearly as good as you remember!!!

I took my Mom out to eat the other night to Bob Evans - their menu almost made me hurl!!!  We ended up sharing a bowl of soup and a sandwich, but most of their items were just obscene.  Like their deep dish bowls - a biscuit, topped with pot roast, bbq pork or friend chicken breast, topped with gravy, topped with mashed potatoes and finished off with cheese!!! O...M....G!!!!!

Enjoy your peanuts, sweetie - but do it with your friends!!!!

hey hon!  I get the regular ****tail peanuts......the saltier the better for me LOL  I'm such a salt fiend.  if I just have peanuts for a meal, I usually have one to two ounces and I'm totally done.  they sit a bit heavy on the pouch which is good because it fills me up faster.

Oh and i did survive the day and just escaping by eating a piece of smoked ham and a slice of regular cheese, two potato chips and 1 crunchy cheeto LOL  i still lost weight!
