OMG!
We had our pot luck on Tuesday this week. I went (I'm a social person, so I didn't even consider not going) and had a teaspoon of a few different thinks. I looked for items with protein: chicken dishes, cheese dishes and even a deviled egg. I overate, so please limit yourself, but don't exclude yourself. We've already excluded ourselves from way too many things because of our obesity. HAVE FUN!!
I only had one person say, is that more than you should be eating. I politely said probably, but I'm going to enjoy it and I'll forego dinner. Of course, she wears a size 6 and hardly eats at all!!!

We had our lunch yesterday. Way too much food, both healthy and non! I took my buffalo chicken dip and made sure I 'hid' the leftovers so I would have it for lunch again today. One of my perks is a small fridge in my office, so while I initially put the container in the kitchen fridge, this morning I moved it to my office so it doesn't all disappear before I have lunch at 12:30.
Look for the protein stuff and have a taste!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Our party is today too, Aaron. I am soooo nervous!! Ours is catered so I am not sure what they are having but several of our vendors have dropped cakes, cookies goodies and chocolates off today and they put them on the cabinet RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DESK!! I swear I am gonna dump just from smelling them!!
Good luck today and maybe ill come to your office and well share the peanuts....lol
