We used to have HUGE christmas parties.  It was almost like prom....it would be a formal dinner and drinks.  no kids allowed!  Now, we've been reduced to a potluck.

You realize, don't you, that you missed the perfect opportunity to say that you were bringing refried bean casserole?!!

I'm with Aaron.  When I first came we had an all-out affair with spouses and food and entertainment, music, dancing, prizes.  For the last 2 years we have been reduced to pot luck, which I just returned from.  I'm so full I think I'm going to throw up!!!  Hopefully this will pass.  At least it's over for this year.

Yes, it will pass - or you WILL throw up!!!  In either case, you'll feel better!!!  LOL!!!  Sorry, honey, just trying to make you smile!!!

So...............HOW much DID you eat?  And.....more importantly......HOW does it compare with your pre-op Christmas partying?

Hugs & Miss ya!!

I am feeling better, so it is passing.  I was afraid that I ate too much sugar.  I can deal with throwing up and then feeling better, but last week I ate a whole chocolate chip cooking that I made with the grands and got the sugar sick and passed out on the couch and had to sleep it off.  I was afraid that was going to be the case today.

The amount of food that I ate today in no way compares to years past.  Did I overeat for my WLS, yes, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it.  I will not eat anymore today.  I had about a tsp of approx 10 things and then I had 3 tsp full of desert.

Well, personally, I'd rather have the "sugar sick," as opposed to having food stuck, but I hate the lethargy that comes with sugar!!!  Although you can get it with s/f stuff, too.

I'm glad you're feeling better and not beating yourself up!!  It's not worth it!!!
