OMG that guy is sending up all kinds of red flags!

Good thinking to ask around about him. This is exactly what bothers me about meeting someone in online dating sites. You don't get to see them when they are in their element around the people who know them and their character. This was great that you got to speak to someone who knows him. Good for you to have a sense of humor about this men stuff. You are so brave to be out here dating.
I am just ready for that yet.
If I haven't already said so, I'm really enjoying your being our board Christmas Elf-ette. Your holiday cheer is really fun and the kid in me is getting all excited along with you. Today I watched Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, Frosty, Rudolph's Shiny New Year all in one afternoon. I missed Santa Claus is coming to Town,so I hope it comes on again soon. Has Grinch come on yet?

Well, sadly, even in person, people can dupe you and wear a different persona. I've met people online and in real life whom I thought had real potential, both as boyfriends and friends, and it's hurtful when you find out that they lie, are judgemental, etc. You just have to weed through the nutjobs!!! And yes, a sense of humor DOES help!!! I don't even stress about it anymore. I've met only a couple of people in the last year with whom I'd consider spending any time - one was gone before he was there, the other last about two months and he lives out of state now and the other one decided I wasn't good enough for him - so whatever!!! Just like at the deli - now serving number blah, blah, blah!!! LOL!!!
As far as being Santa's Elfette - I wouldn't have it any other way!!! I love this time of year!!! I love doing things for the people in my life and letting the people who are important to me know it!! I try to do that ALL year, but Christmas just makes it SOOOO much nicer.
The Grinch has already been on, but it generally shows up a couple more times. I'll keep you posted if I see it!!!!
