3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Rudolph's Shiny New Year - This was on last night!! One of my faves. I just love Happy the Baby New Year (and YES, that IS where MY Happy's name came from!). I feel so sorry for him!!! AWWWW!
2. That one of the bosses is out. Of course, I hope his surgery today goes well, but in the meantime....................play time!!!!!
3. That my Goof-O-Meter is in proper working order!! LOL!!! I love that I can laugh about some of these guys!! I met a guy about a month ago, we've been talking, but during one of our first conversations, it was all about him, he didn't ask any questions and really didn't give ME the chance to ask any, either. He clearly is a legend in his own mind!! He mentioned that I worked with someone he knew....and THEN said, "But don't ask him about me, I don't want him to know I'm doing the online thing." Okay, yeah, right. So I called the guy, who said, "Look, he's a nice guy, but if you were MY sister, I'd tell you to steer clear. He says he's in law enforcement, but he really only plays at being a bodyguard, he's never really had a steady job, lives off supplements from his father, has never really had a steady girlfriend, etc.!!! But....if you're looking for a good time, he'll show you one. Just be prepared to discover that he's the be all and end all - knows everything, everyone and then some." Okay, that was enough for me!!!! I probably WOULDN'T have called our mutual contact had he not said, "But don't call him!" That in itself was a huge red flag!!!! I love it!!!! LOL!!!
So I've got to scoot, have a lot to do before 11. Again, I'll update about Dusty when I get the call.
Have a great day,
Tia
Glad you arrived safely at work today.
I hope everything goes smoothly at the dentist today. I can not stand root canals I am cringing just with the thought that you are having one. (((hugs)))
I can't wait to hear about Dusty! Oh and good riddance to that LOSER! lol
Today I am grateful for:
1. The wonderful OH family I have. I am humbled by their true love, friendship and support. I thank God everyday for you all. (You know who you are!

2. The happiness that I see in my children's eyes when they look at their Christmas tree!
The blessing of being innocent and believing. I love it, I wish they stayed like this forever. sighhh A mother can dream right? lol
3. Jesus' birthday just 14 days away.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

ONE root canal??? Try 2-3, with crowns for each, plus 2-3 more pulled with either implants or bridges. ONE would be a s/f cake walk!!! But thank goodness for insurance!!!!!
I'll be sure to update you on Dusty.
I miss you guys, hopefully I can come up after Christmas, 'cause the Tooth Fairy doesn't seem to want me going anywhere right now (except to the bank!!!).
Love you,
Tia
I miss you too and if we don't get together before December is done remember not to make any plans for Jan 17th!
Hugs,
By the way pm me your address I can't find it.
Love you all the way to the moon and back just like Darla!

Depends, I guess, on how much time he has allotted. Frankly, I've HAD 2 done at once, 3 would be okay, too. I'm all about getting everything done so I'm in pain all at once. And actually, the root canals, with the exception of the initial numbing injections, are less painful than a filling!!! Crazy, huh??? I even like them better than regular cleanings!!!!
Nope, got ya penciled in for the 17th. Did we decide on a name for Baby Boy yet?
I'll email you my addy.
You too!!

Good Morning;
LOL Tia I loved your goof o meter story; thanks for the laugh
1. That even though I sucked bowling last night I had fun anyway LOL
Something I ate didn't agree with me and I was in the beginging dumping stage and
one of the woman came over and told me how great I look and to keep up the good
work LOL! Here I was sweating and feeling like **** and she tells me I look great
Gotta love it.
2. For my parents: I know I know I keep repeating this but I AM SO GRATEFUL
for the fact that I still have them with me: yes they drive me nuts sometimes
(like saturday night: LOL I was out later then planned and when Mom woke
up and I wasn't home she paniced and called my cell - nothing like being
46 years old and being checked up on like a teenager) but I know its because
they love me.
3. For the unknown Santa Claus who yesterday helped out a family near and dear
to my heart ; He's not an OH member so I know he won't see this but I am
grateful good people still exist in this world.
So gang: thats my story and I'm sticking too it: whats up in your world today?
Yeah, my dating escapades are entertaining if nothing else!!!!! Like I said, sometimes, all you can do is laugh!!! But it's all good!!!!
I'm glad you decided to go bowling - I know how much you enjoy it!!!
Don't worry, I need to check in, too, when I get home late, but fortunately, they both sleep so soundly, they wouldn't know WHAT time I came in!! LOL!!!!
Believe me, through my tears, I TRIED to get Santa's name and address, but he wouldn't part with it!!!! Santa takes many forms this time of year - actually, all year, but we just hear more about it this time of year.
Pay it forward!
Hugs,
Tia
Tia - As one who has had more experiences with the dentist than I can count, I feel for you and hope all goes as well as can be expected - short and sweet, even if expensive!!!!
Yes, I believe in Santa Claus. When my oldest nephew started to hear rumors to the contrary when he was growing up, I told him then and I continue to say that I believe in Santa Claus. His spirit lives in the hearts of all of us. It is up to us to make it real.
1 - Shopping for toys - I really don't have little kids to shop for these days. While I was shopping last night and decided to pick something up for the Toys for Tots program. There is just something about picking out toys at this time of year that feels so magical. I had a hard time deciding! It was a joy!
2 - Seeing and old business friend yesterday - He stopped by the office for his annual Holiday visit. It was fun watching his expression when he saw the new me! I will NEVER get tired of this experience!
3 - Checking Things off the list - While I still have a lot to do, I checked several items off the list yesterday. So at least I feel like I am making progress!
Have a super day and try to keep safe and dry!
Debbie
Thanks, Deb, for sharing my mental and physical pain. I'd rather NOT have to do it, but I've gotten to be quite fond of my teeth!!
I'm right there with you on Santa - I think B still believes, and I think K's afraid NOT to believe!! I, myself, believe whole-heartedly. I try to pay it forward whenever possible, even if it's paying for the order of the person behind me in the Dunkin Donuts drive through!! Although I admit I usually ask WHAT they ordered first!!! LOL!!! I don't want to be paying for someone's office donut order!!!!!
Oh, Lord, I need to do some toy shopping this year. Too bad you can't clear your schedule!!! I love it!!! I just like seeing the new stuff and comparing it to the things I had!!
Your NSV was way cool!!!
Have a great day,
Tia
